We're sending lasers and helicopters to Mars

An invasion of what exactly?

Unless there's some big endgame here, it's just not captivating enough to be news.

Compared to the things happening here on earth right now. Specifically, in the U.S.

Can't wait to see what that helicopter finds, I didn't read about this yet but it sounded like a far better exploratory mission than rovers.

Can you believe this is the first mars mission that has a microphone?

I wonder how the sound would carry in the martian atmosphere... we'll find out since this mars mission has a microphone...

Space news is always captivating. What's happening on earth is a forgettable blip in our cultural history, especially considering that it's all stuff that has definitely happened many times before. The first tentative steps into the cosmos will be remembered well once we've gotten out there.

Goddamn, just call me Mars, because I need women and guitars (hehe, that's pretty song-like).

Who are "we"? I was pretty sure I was in this alone.

Humans. Doing stuff. In space.

Something tells me that this isn't happening.

It is, the next rover is gonna come equipped with a drone. Might be sending it soon? Can't remember. Should be a shitload more efficient than the turtles we've been sending to explore an entire planet.

That was a really nice summary of space news, I'm gonna have to male a note of that channel.

SciShow does a pretty good job... There are certain subjects they shy away from, which is unfortunate...
