Leaded Gas, it smells like Grapes to me

When I visit the Drag Strip and they run the leaded shit it always smells like Grapes when they go by

Hair.  Freshly cut hay (it doesn't taste that bad, just smells better).  Wet soil.  Citrus peels.

Greek food.  Not all Greek food I suppose, but when I was a kid there was a family a couple doors down & the father used to barbecue kabobs & other stuff, which always smelled fantastic.  The taste, while not bad, just didn't live up to the aroma.

Gyros are the other way around, they taste fantastic, but don't smell like anything special.
