It doesn't do me any good considering I use bunk emails for registration. 

I guess I could change it to my real one but... nah.

Idk maybe it just means that I wouldn't get creepy activity logs sent to my email if I actually had it set up properly, and only allows me the "illusion" of following you.

Nah, I have optimal settings to get as few notifications as possible.  I only know if you quote me...Anything else, you're wasting your time because I'll never know

Naw, e-mail is borked currently. 

I'm trying to remember what would get sent to your e-mail when it did work and I think mine was purely set to receive PMs and Reports. I don't recall getting reaction / tag notifications in my e-mail.

I don't follow anyone here. I'd rather annoy the hell out of everyone equally by just lurking everywhere and no where at all.

The way I have it set up I don't get any actual effect from following somebody. 

It's just more like a camaraderie between two people.  

But, apparently, the feeling is not mutual. 

Naraku does not believe we are comrades.

I don't feel that I should rebuff him, I respect his wishes. 

Even if there isn't any reason to follow someone, you should still be able to do it.
