Distinct Lunatic Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) And don't know what to name her. Some backstory I guess. I started living on my own this month after buying a new house. Right now it's just me and my asshole cat that pisses and shits everywhere, including next to her unused litter box. I decided I'm just gonna send her back home and get two dogs (since I don't think she can handle being around dogs, and at least with dogs they can learn to not piss and shit on the floors). Here's a picture of the doggy I'll hopefully be getting. The name she comes with is Marsha, her pet description even says it's after the Brady Bunch... I'm not too fond of that name, but I'm not good at figuring out names for dogs. Unless there's something that's really catchy to me, I'd like to keep it to something that starts with an M so that it hopefully won't throw her off too much, being called by a different name (she's only a couple months old so might not matter probably). I'll be going to visit her tomorrow. Apparently it's a case where I'll have to drive over to Missouri to go see her cause apparently with Illinois the dog needs a health certificate or something, which it doesn't have. So I'll be driving over there to see her, and if I say yes (which I likely will) I'll just have to pay $50 there to get the certificate, after which I should receive her in the next day or so after. When it comes to her breed, that's something neither the lady I talked to or myself could figure out, her just listed as mixed breed because they couldn't figure it out. The lady thinks she could have had a different father from the others in the litter, so they can't tell. Edited March 30, 2020 by Distinct Lunatic

The only things there was to say was that she'd be a medium breed dog, the mom being around 30 pounds, the father around 50. She did say when you're there with her and look at her she has a lab look to her face. She said the other 2 from the same litter that they had (which were adopted already) had really short and smooth hair, while hers is longer and looks different from theirs.

She looks like all the puppies we've ever had. Ours were Australian Sherperd mixes. She looks like their short hair puppies.

Distinct Lunatic Posted March 30, 2020 Author Posted March 30, 2020 I was able to go see the doggy earlier today, tried taking some photos but it was pretty bright so only two of them came out good. She does look more like a lab up close and in person, she even has webbed paws, that being something that's common to labs. 1
Distinct Lunatic Posted March 30, 2020 Author Posted March 30, 2020 I paid $300 in adoption fees, plus $50 for health certificate. Was told that should be ready Wednesday, so I should be able to get her then.
