tsar4 Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) Not seeing it. Although... Edited January 6, 2020 by tsar4
cyberbully Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Tom Hanks has never made me laugh except by pretending to be retarded.....So not really. 1
Seight Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 There can be a Batman and a Superman that are two different people.
Vamped Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I feel like Tom Hanks is your dad who would help you navigate the world and your problems through long talks over a beer and Bill Murray is your uncle who would tell you to fuck whatever it is bothering you and then let you smoke weed with him in his man cave. 1 3 3

And then there are those David S. Pumpkins moments where Dad and Uncle are together and forget they're the responsible adults and are just fucking around and it's hilarious. 2
blueraven1999 Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Nope. Tom Hanks is a good actor and Bill Murray used to be a good actor. Last movie I liked of Murray's is Groundhog's Day and that movie is old. 1

scoobdog Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Also, you can't say he wasn't brilliant in his Zombieland cameo.

I still stand by what I said, but it's nice you liked it. I've really disliked Bill Murray ever since I found out that he was against being in a new Ghostbusters film.

I mean it's not a "comedy" but it was rife with comedic elements. The idea that he single handedly raced in and out of the jungle, saving his whole platoon while Storm Trooper lazers were flying at him.....I mean, that was written in seriousness? Meeting the resident and going "I gotta pee" I could go on, but why....You seem kinda humorless and defeated just in general and I won't waste your time with the slack jawed musings of Bubba. It wasn’t a comedy. It was a feels movie. If humor is for derogatory musings and I need that to not be “defeated”... (somehow, didn’t know we were playing a game) then fine I guess. Look at it how you want. *eyeroll

I mean defeated in general....You make a lot of depressing threads and that's why I feel like continuing wouldn't be fruitful for either of us. Also, I didn't need you to tell me it wasn't a comedy since that's almost exactly what I said in the very post you quoted. Edited January 9, 2020 by cyberbully 1

Pretty good at finding silver linings; you have to be in a world this shitty.
