He talked to me again today randomly...this time about his ex wife being in the store.

I kinda spied on him and another female working in health and beauty to see if he just talks a lot but he wasnt saying nothing to her. 😳

Sue him for sexual harassment.

Actually, scratch that, he could just be awkward.

Sue him for regular harassment.

Omfg. People and these fucking precentages off

This lady bought $450 worth of stuff and at first she asked me to tell her the orginal price and then the precentage off of EVERYTHING....i lied and said i couldn't do that cuz i wasnt searching her hundreds of items for the og price. Then she still made me tell the price of every single thing that I rang up.

I hope they never put me on the register again.

No one buys $450 of shit at Kmart in 2019. Or 2018.

Last weekend a customer had two buggies full and bought $1600 worth of stuff

No. Kmart wouldn't be in the sad state they are in if this was the norm.

My grandmother retired early from Kmart in the 90s. Granted, she was a big wig... she got out at the right time.

buggies? the hell is a buggy?

Also I was going to ask the same thing. Maybe The Amish are what is keeping Kmart afloat.

Just because its closing stores doesn't mean they dont sell a lot. They are basically taking the money and running. People are probably spending all this money to resell online at a higher price.

I was thinking of doing the same with toys which right now are 35% off. We have great stuff like drones and harry potter dolls. Last time i was rearranging toys monday i came back around and 3 of the harry potter dolls were gone. People definitely reselling that junk on Amazon.

i've heard it being called a trolley by some of the Indian folks around here, but never a buggy. it's always just been a shopping cart

that's why every supermarket around here, including Harris Teeter which is from North Carolina, calls it a shopping cart. and offers a cart return, not a "buggy return"

Publix calls it a cart return; they're from Florida. Fresh market is from NC, calls it a shopping cart and offers a cart return.

You have 72 hours to vacate the South.

good luck with that one

Only way you can stay is by cooking a pot of grits with the right consistency and texture and salt to water ratio. Turn your grits in by 9:00 AM at the nearest waffle house. If no customers complain, you can stay.

i literally google searched "buggies NC" and nothing relevant came up. i googled "shopping carts NC" and there was a bunch of stuff including a news article that refers to them as such: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/local/article226452495.html

sorry fuggs, i think you're in the wrong on this one.

But i googled the definition and posted it. The fuck.

i'm telling you, we don't call them that. whatever you're looking at is not correct. i even tried "shopping buggy NC" and only results for shopping carts come up

i mean i can ask the people at work tomorrow, some of whom were born here, what they call it but it'd be kind of a weird question. "HEY TOM WHAT THE FUCK IS A BUGGY"
