Actual catnip plant is safe for human consumption it's part of the mint family so some people will make tea out of it

https://commonsensehome.com/catnip/

It’s a perennial herb that’s a member of the mint family

Uses and Benefits
Although most commonly grown for cats’ enjoyment, catnip has a long history of medicinal use. The tea is soothing, cooling and relaxing. The leaves are safe to eat, but strong in flavor. Large amounts may induce vomiting.

It shows up in herbal blends occasionally, along with herbs like chamomile, skullcap, hibiscus, and valerian; usually in "sleepy-time" type blends.

Of course. That's what cats do.

Remember: You are not a cat owner. You are merely a cat's personal assistant and intern.

Fuck that. My first kitty cutes was like my mom. My second kitty Bandit worshipped me. I was all he knew but i watched him be born. Kitties arent all these distant emotionless assholes.

Don't let Bandit's adoration fool you. It's just a strategy to make you do things for them.

Spoiler

Kidding. My kitty was glued to me pretty much 24/7. Best kitty ever.

Haha yes i loved Bandit so much. I think he thought i was his momma. He had a bad side when I wasnt watching my mom and dad would tell me he was bad lol but then when i was around he was always on his best behavior so i didnt believe them

I was unconvinced for years until i moved in with my mom. My mom didnt want him in the living room so she put this stuffed toy in the doorway of the living room to scare him. Well that nite bandit peed over and over on the toy all night. When we woke up the toy was soaked in his piss LOL that was the only time i caught him being bad but i thought that was so hilarious i didnt scold him. My mom had to throw the toy away!
