...and not even over yet!

stressed a lot about the dr. appt. for absolutely no reason.

except had to have my heart rate checked 3x. *yikes*

been out in the yard doing all kinds of spring ramming. i have pics...but for some reason

they didn't load correctly onto the computer. saved it as something i can't post (??)

eh...i'll get more, because all the pretty little flowers are all starting to bloom.

still have to till the garden. and get seeds going.

tl:dr yay for spring being here.

Aaaand we still have snow. But not much, and the geese are flying north, so yeah, yay, spring.

I'm not sure I want to see the flowers yet; I'd rather wait until ours looks more like a probablity than a possibility.

ok...so these pics were from last week. so much has bloomed since then.

but i'll take more once those come in a little better. specifically my 'bells of ireland' 'loves lies bleeding/green' and

something called 'double purple giant queens' or something like that. xD

i got some sugar bush watermelons coming in (the boy planted those and is beside himself seeing the 'fruits' of his labor)

and the girl planted a whole damn tray of carnations. i really hope those come in.

anyway...time for the pics.

I had to bust out the mower last weekend, it's freaking March

Next up is storms and tornado season for a couple months followed by 3 months of +100 degree weather

we've already cut 2x. i've been out cutting on trees, trying to get them back in shape.

i sort of murdered the crape murdels (s). not down to the bare nubs...just couldn't reach very well,

so it looks like a 3 year old that got ahold of scissors to the hair. xD

that's my misa~mo kiki. she's a sweet gato. to me, anyway.

she claimed that planter this year, which HAD something in it that WAS sprouting...but alas,

it is now her 'sunning' place.

You never know, she might choose another spot lol.

I have a Bush that looks like that!

This is a before picture, I pulled all the dead limbs off and it's growing new ones so I'm hoping it pulls through

you may have to cut that way back and cut out the middle bits. but since the season has already started....

you could just primp it up to make it.

it's an easy fix...but better to do in the fall after the green has fallen.

unless you're cool with it looking like a cha cha chia?

but, i'm sure you knew this already. ;)

Damn. You hardly see property like that around here 😮

That's all that's here. We live in swamp land. Nothing but countryside and swamps. We have had alligators in the yard before. Actually tried raising some once. But they all left. Raccoons. Possums. Coyotes. Bears. Bob cats. There actually used to be monkeys here. A circus boat was traveling down the river many, many years ago, and the monkeys escaped. They were around for years, but none spotted in a long time.

....but if you listen, late at night...you can still hear the wild banshee screams of a monkey, flinging poo.

No I didn't, thank you!

I've been looking all over the internet for ways to fix it.  I even tried to find a subreddit for plants, one wouldn't let me in and the other was for a different kind of plant growing >.>

you're welcome. i actually learned that from 'this old house'

the garden/yard dude had to tend to an owners messy, dead weirdly growing shrubs.
