I ordered an ASUS because it was like 3lbs and I didnt wanna lug a big ass HP around campus. It came out of the box with problems. It wouldnt charge and I could only use it when it was plugged up. So im still lugging around a big ass 17 inch HP like a middle aged businessman....

Naraku4656 Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 i have an MSI laptop and this thing is built like a tank. i bought it to play games on it but it basically stopped being able to. this thing has 1. fallen down more times than i can count including down a flight of stairs 2. survived a power surge 3. has had to be reformatted at least 3 times. 4. originally came with Windows 8 for christsakes. not 8.1, 8. literally every laptop i've ever had has gone in less than 3 years. this one is on its 6th. i want a new laptop but i refuse to buy one until this thing dies BUT IT DOESN'T DIE. 1

That's why i got a toshiba. I found a neat one at the pawnshop so who knows how old it was. Thing lasted me from 2009-2014. I just dropped it and messed up the charger but i put tons of porn on it and its turn on NOW if i wanted it to. My new toshiba is shit. I think they purposely make most laptops crap so u keep buying them.

Always LOADED with bloatware, but I wouldn't expect one to work worth a F coming from a pawn shop idk. You're probably going to need it tethered to the wall unless you replace the battery on any laptop from a pawn shop for starters. My power supply on my laptop stopped working well before it had battery issues though. I almost ranted about that..

Yes it has to constantly be plugged in but back in 2009 i was talented with computers back then and reimaged it with zero bloat. Ran like magic.

Its in the closet. I stopped using it cuz the charging port is broken (by me) and my toddler at the time popped a bunch of its keys off lol

The laptop I'm posting on now I've had since 2011.....It's falling apart....LOL, sometimes the battery just falls out but I love how it hasn't died yet....Mostly because I know haow to take care of shit.
