This is bad but if those cake bakers can refuse to serve gay couples THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OKAY!

He didn't refuse to serve them. He refused to make a cake for a gay wedding. He was practicing his freedom of religious beliefs.

Ok tell me what bible verse says you cant bake cakes for gays? I'll wait.

Also, i bet they ate shrimp and wore mixed threads and possibly even had premarital sex while refusing to bake that cake. I didn't know the bible was a choose your own adventure book or create your own religion a la carte.

The bible says no such thing. It doesn't have to. He was a Christian who was against gay marriage. They wanted things written on the cake that supported the idea of gay marriage and he didn't want to condone it, but he said he would bake them a cake with no such messages written on it. He was perfectly within his legal right to do so and the Supreme Court agreed with a vote of 7 to 2.

He doesn't know how to clerk right.. I always just talked shit back and when they say they're calling corporate I point to the handwritten sign with the number on it I made myself.. Worked everytime. I think corporate would even get a kick out of the steamy phone call that followed most of the time anyway...

One lady legit told me she was going to sick the president..like not the CEO THE ACTUAL POTUS  on me, because she got upset that I kicked her out and said something like "who are you anyway, you;re no one..that's why you work here..blahblahblah.." bite my shiny metal veteran ass..

The bible condemns homosexuality as a sin. He's against the union of two gay people and used his religious freedom to not condone it on a cake. The fact that the bible says nothing about cakes is irrelevant. The homosexuality was his issue.

Refusing to serve someone who supports Trump has nothing to do with religious freedom.

Same people crying religion cry that they dont want gay lifestyles forced on them but feel as if they have a right to force their religious beliefs on other people.

Also the bible doesn't condemn sexuality. Motherfuckers don't even read their bible or even look up the several meanings of the original languages its written in. It condemns pagan homosexual rituals...not homosexuality itself.

The guy wasn't forcing his religious beliefs on anyone. He was only practicing his own. He didn't tell the guys to stop being gay.

The bible doesn't condemn homosexuality now? It doesn't call it a sin?

Nope. Its says homosexual rituals are an abomination. All pagan pratices were condemned but i bet i can go into that bakery on Christmas and see all kinds of Christmas trees...bet they still make Easter bunny cakes...all that pagan shit that makes God angry because they dont know shit about their own "religion".

Its ok. Most "Christians" dont know shit about their bible and don't care...they just want to put their feet on the necks of anyone who dares to be authentic and different. Thats why all their kids are getting fucked by gay men who try to follow that stupid shit.

Little did you know, they resolved this by sucking each other's dicks, for vaping is for queers. This was just a dramatic play before the fact.

My bad then. I'm not Christian so I suppose I just went by what I've heard. A gay wedding would be a homosexual ritual, though, wouldn't it? If so, it's within his religious freedom not to support it in any way.

No its not. It has to be in worship of a pagan god. God is a jealous God and condemns anything that puts any other entity above him.

And what makes people gay? God. And God is a perfect God who doesn't make mistakes. So the real sinners are those miserable hateful bakers. (Hatred is also a sin. As well as being judgemental)

Look i BARELY studied the bible at a Christian university and i know this shit...Christians probably know it too but ignore it to be ignorant pieces of shit and it makes me livid.

The bible does say that marriage is between a man and a woman though. It's understandable then why the baker didn't want to support a gay wedding but would have gladly served the couple without doing so.

Deuteronomy and Leviticus have specific prohibitions against male homosexuality; I don't know if it says anything about lesbians, but I'm too lazy and disinterested to look it up.

Accordingo to the Victorians, they were s cool that they didn't exist. It was a crime in England for two men two have sex. Mention two women having sex, and all you'd get was blank stares, because that just didn't happen.

Then why did God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? Have YOU actually read the Bible?

(no)

It's fairy tale bullshit full of contradictions anyway.

That's odd considering every woman is bisexual.

Not really. Says men should not lie with men as they do with women. Never says dont fornicate and u know fornication is mentioned throughout the bible but not there. My book in school explained that it was talking about a pagan ritual to a fertility pagan god that involved men lying in a field. I don't remember if sex was even mentioned.

If u are serious about living bible teachings i would think youd get a study bible to better understand it but that just crazy me tho.

There are entire religions that only follow new testament.

The way to salvation is thru jesus and his teachings and he didnt give a shit about homosexuality.

So you're better off following the teaching of a political criminal as filtered through his gynephobic amanuenses, rather than the principles that have helped the Jews maintain a corporate identity for well over 4000 years?

The stuff they left out, the stuff they left in...The only sensible thing that Augustine of Hippo ever said was that Revelations should never have been allowed in.

All of it should be in it. The fact that its not proves its just a tool to manipulate the masses.

man...that clerk was unhinged.

i would love to go into how the media has played both sides, and pushed that divide even wider..
