There's this really chill irish pub next to my house you're invited to also, when guys go to bars alone they carry a stigma

I wasn't posting here twenty five years ago.

I mean I know you're trying to tapdance around being poor but this makes no sense at all.....Like you think I won't go back and be able to identify when you became contextually dishonest. What you said and what you're trying to pretend you said are COMPLETELY different things. Edited March 18, 2018 by Noboru Yamaguchi 1

That's not what I said at all. 1988, I wasn't working in a casino. The job paid $5.85 an hour. I had $2,375 in a cigar box for emergencies. Later, I was hired at the casino for $6.75 per hour. With raises each year for five years, disposable income became available. That means that in 1988, there was virtually zero for luxury. Five years later, luxury was in the budget.

NSAID Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Go to the best/worst flea market you can find to look at all the shitty/cool stuff, and debate if you can squeeze $12 out of your budget to spend on a crossbow, or a sack of hand made incence that doesn't come with any written indication of its intended odor. Touch a lot of stuff while you're there for the thrill of living dangerously (risk of bedbugs).

nameraka Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 i used to stay home and drink or write or write and drink (though this usually resulted in some of the worst writing ever seen by human eyes)

MEXobiologist Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 actually, no. i spent way too much on the ingredients for dindin and the store i went to only sells fifths or larger of liquor. so i spent about 60$ last night as opposed to the maybe 25-30$ i would have spent if i went out. less if others or the bar buys me drinks. still was fun and worth it, my brother cracks me up and i totally forgot how much i love cribbage.

I'd be a girl for a week just so I can have people buy me drinks

My friends like to do that at the worst possible time, like when I'm broke and can't afford to buy them a round 1
