Ghostrek i need you to do a few lines for my fanfiction as i wouldnt feel as comfortable writing diologue for you and feel you would do a much better job representing yourself.

Its only like 3-5 sentences, essentially i will give you the prompt, you give me your reply, and i put it in the fanfiction.

It will be fun.

No advanced lifeforms want to deal with this place right now.

It's not on any major travelways, it's not close enough to an arm of the Milky Way itself to be worthy of a useful outpost since the output to reach it from a line would require the same amount to get back to a line [there's no guarantee of being able to adequately refuel anything once here] , and it's infested with savage little humans that are still in the developementary stages of blowing things up just because they can.

In short, this planet is the Deliverance of planets right now. They can hear the banjos all the way past the Oort cloud.

I liked the South Park take on it, where Earf is a reality show for the rest of the galaxy because of how ridiculous we are

Or Rick & Morty where once added to the Galactic Federation of Planets, we are listed as a tourist spot where we eat spaghetti and worship kangaroos.

If we find extraterrestrial life, it becomes more likely that the filter is in front of us.

The more complex that life is, the more likely it becomes that the filter is in front of us.

I like the idea that at the very least, life is so rare in the universe that any other intelligent lifeforms

are probably so far away that we could never reach each other. I like to imagine that they're out there,

realizing that same thing, possibly at the same time, and the novelty of that notion is as close as we could

come to experiencing each other. I like the time line where the filter is behind us and we colonize our galaxy, empty of intelligent life everywhere we go.

Space is dangerous enough as it is without any of this sci-fi interstellar politics b.s. to worry about.

Think about Native Americans and the arrival of Europeans. We'd get steam rolled.

Even microscopic life of extraterrestrial origin could spell really bad news for any humans coming into contact with it.

Bottom line: it's never aliens.

Assuming it's worth their time and effort when a species that advanced would probably just mine uninhabited planets:

We would be reduced to guerilla tactics fairly quickly and even then we'd just be buying time. Our only real chance would be another Galactic Government interfering due to morality or wanting something in return like turning us into cybernetic servants or something. So yeah we'd be kinda fucked regardless unless they were just ecstatic about animal rights or something, since that's essentially what we'd be to them.

The parts these movies don't show you is the aftermath when the rest of the fleet shows up, and it turns out the humans have wasted all of the worlds Naval and Air support taking down a scouting vessel.

The thing that will help you sleep better is that it probably wouldn't be worth the time or energy to fight insurgencies when they could just go to worlds with creatures even less capable of fighting back, if there was even any wildlife at all.
