SwimModSponges
The phenomenon colloquially known as "hauntings" are caused by infrasonic waves that can be created easily within the environment; fans, wind, airplanes, traffic, all sorts of shit. These waves are also caused by far-off earthquakes and natural disasters and serve animals that are capable of processing sound waves below human hearing as an early warning device. Humans can pick up on the waves, but not hear them, leading to feelings of unexplained anxiety. Additionally, the nature of the sound waves vibrates the human eye in such a way as to cause visual distortions. This is what people see when they "see" a ghost. Do infrasonic waves open locked car doors while driving down the road? Just wondering, because that shit totally happened to me. Passenger side door just opens up for no reason. Never did it before, hasn't done it since. Freaky.

SwimModSponges
Couldn't find any recalls, so I'm pretty sure that was gremlins, not a ghost.

Whatever it was, had to manually unlock the door and pull on the door handle to open it. Ghost, gremlin, old lady with the lazy eye, it doesn't really matter. When the passenger door opened, it freaked me out. Especially since I had just left my uncle's house (that is supposed to be haunted). I was saying shit like, "Fuck a ghost. I ain't 'fraid of no ghost." Immediately after saying that, the door opened. Coincidence? Maybe. I said, "Okay, you got my attention," reached over, shut and locked the door, and drove right home.
