You can't lose hope after striking out a few times if you really want a job.

 

Keep at it, and I'm sure you can find something if you really want to.

 

Honestly the job thing is still secondary but I am trying. I will have 2 year sobriety in march and the mental health issue isn't resolved so these other things take precedence to the job. But I am trying to manage all 3 issues.

I really don't wanna work until I get at least the mental health thing  figured out. And stress can cause a relapse. Hopefully I can avoid all these things and solve one problem at a time.

 

Relapse?

 

Are we talking hard drugs here or just booze?

 

Because, if it's just booze... I mean... really?

Well, you're making progress - you're talking about getting a job without talking about going back down to the cellar in the same breath. And it does sound sensible to take care of the issues that would make it harder to find -or keep- a job.
