HardcoreHunter Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Did you know that lighter roasted coffee actually has more caffeine.
1pooh4u Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 I did not know but now I know also it's nice to see you again. You were missed. <3
Chapinator_X Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 He also has a brand of coffee that I need to get at some point, but I think it's only online https://www.javadistribution.com/allegro-coffee/david-lynch-signature-cup-organic-coffee/
HardcoreHunter Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 The same volume of dark coffee will have less caffeine than a lighter roast. However lighter roasts are more acidic and the extra caffeine isn't much more on average.
1pooh4u Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 thank you You're welcome. Don't be a stranger anymore. Everyone goes, "where's poof" and everyone answers cuz no one knows.
HardcoreHunter Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 But the same mass/weight of dark coffee will have more caffeine than light roast. If you take a bean and distill it enough to extract the caffeine crystals. Then the lighter roast will have more as the darker roast will have broken down some of it's caffeine in the roasting process. A darker roast bean will almost always be lighter than a light roast bean because a light roast bean will have more moisture in it.
