Happy September all! Well we're 3 weeks out from what is imo the best part of the year, Fall! Longer nights, cooler temperatures, beautiful foliage, and of course the best month of the year: October! Halloween Horror Goodness! And with Fall this year comes a particularly packed and/or stacked lineup of new and returning anime series. Check it out:

Now due to some shall we say extenuating circumstances I'm very far behind regarding my anime watching. Suffice to say Summer 2017 was easily one of the worst in my life, to the point where I seriously considered abandoning even weekly My Hero Academia posts and making this thread or staying on this board. But I digress. Because I am still so far behind and because things ain't gonna get much better for me anytime soon I intend to seriously limit what I try to keep up with weekly next season too. At this point I will still try to watch those Ancient Magus' Bride OVAs late this month and keep up with the series proper as it airs. Ditto 3-gatsu no Lion Season 2...and that's probably gonna be it outside Super and the Toonami stuff honestly, and even that might not happen. Other stuff I had been eagerly awaiting like Umaru 2, Black Clover, Yuuki Yuuna 2, etc... will hafta be whenever I can if ever shows. Ditto Soma 3 but considering we're entering the garbage-level Azami arc for that series no loss there really. :D Anyway enough of my bitching, so what looks good all? What are you guys gonna watch?

Put in my two sense yesterday. I think there were like 3 from MyAnimeList that I was planning on keeping an eye on you didn't list, but I can't remember the names off the top of my head lol.

There are definitely a lot of sequels coming out this season... Love Live! Sunshine!! S2 is another one. I'll definitely watch that one week-to-week.

And one more show I'm actually interested in is Girl's Last Tour. If nothing else, it promises to be hauntingly beautiful. I feel like everyone is forced to buy into an apocalypse somehow.

3-gatsu no Lion season 2 is the one I'm looking forward to the most, I'll eventually get caught up on Gintama, Kekkai Sensen & Beyond is another one I'm happy to get a second season of, and I'm curious about Two Car.

Definitely most excited for the Ancient Magus Bride, I always end up liking the supernatural stories in anime and it doesn't hurt that the OVAs had really nice music and animation.....oh and of course Gintama.

Hope things get better for you.

I'll definitely watch 3-gatsu no Lion S2 and Food Wars! S3.

I'll watch Gintama as soon as I finish last season.  I think I still have the last episode of last season to watch.I

Edit:  After looking at the MAL link, I'll also check out Net-juu no Susume and Two Car.

Might check out UQ Holder!

What a mess. They decided to adapt the sequel manga while adapting the first manga through flashbacks. Imagine that kind of bullshit in any other medium, like if they made Return of the King first only to pad out the time with butchered up flashbacks of everything that happened in Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers.

It also didn't make the premise any less stupid for what's essentially a phone novel. It's all shock value BS with no logic behind any of it.

I couldn't stop laughing at episode 3. 1 and 2 were funny, but the entire popularity contest broke me.

It has to be one of the worst shows I've ever decided to sit through, and I love it.

That's probably for the best if you don't like watching bad shows to make fun of them.

What we're talking about was done strictly to save a life, to be clear. Except everything gets done in the dumbest ways imaginable for the sake of edge.

I can do terribad shows if I like the main characters. The plot and the main characters sound like trash.

For an entertaining classroom drama, try last seasons Classroom of the Elite instead. It's already dubbed and makes a lot more sense, without the whole death game murder porn thing going on.

Some things I don't understand about King's game... how is there not a huge media frenzy over all the people dying? Why does there never seem to be a teacher in class? How is the person magically killing everyone who doesn't obey?

If these are the only things you don't understand, I'm not sure we're watching the same show.

King's Game is the best kind of terrible.

This show is impossibly bad. It's way worse than I expected after making this post and it was already one of the worst shows I've decided to watch in full.

I love how they've basically forgotten this was an adaption of the sequel story and spent 5 episodes where virtually the only things that happen are in recaps of a prequel they never adapted. Literally everything that happened in the story they're supposed to be adapting since early episode 2 has been characters we barely know going to a new location then the main character continuing to tell them about the story that this isn't an adaption of.

And episode 6 was so very bad.
