Longer nights, cooler temperatures, beautiful foliage, and of course the best month of the year: October! Halloween Horror Goodness! And with Fall this year comes a particularly packed and/or stacked lineup of new and returning anime series. Check it out: MAL AniChart LiveChart Now due to some shall we say extenuating circumstances I'm very far behind regarding my anime watching. Suffice to say Summer 2017 was easily one of the worst in my life, to the point where I seriously considered abandoning even weekly My Hero Academia posts and making this thread or staying on this board. But I digress. Because I am still so far behind and because things ain't gonna get much better for me anytime soon I intend to seriously limit what I try to keep up with weekly next season too. At this point I will still try to watch those Ancient Magus' Bride OVAs late this month and keep up with the series proper as it airs. Ditto 3-gatsu no Lion Season 2...and that's probably gonna be it outside Super and the Toonami stuff honestly, and even that might not happen. Other stuff I had been eagerly awaiting like Umaru 2, Black Clover, Yuuki Yuuna 2, etc... will hafta be whenever I can if ever shows. Ditto Soma 3 but considering we're entering the garbage-level Azami arc for that series no loss there really. Anyway enough of my bitching, so what looks good all? What are you guys gonna watch? I'll definitely watch that one week-to-week. And one more show I'm actually interested in is Girl's Last Tour. If nothing else, it promises to be hauntingly beautiful. Imagine that kind of bullshit in any other medium, like if they made Return of the King first only to pad out the time with butchered up flashbacks of everything that happened in Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers. It also didn't make the premise any less stupid for what's essentially a phone novel. It's all shock value BS with no logic behind any of it. Reveal hidden contents His friend's "have sex within 15 minutes or die" command could've gone much easier if the MC let his friend fuck him instead of force his girlfriend into a situation where she has to fuck his friend while he sobs behind the door. They want to tap into the demand for NTR cuck shit, but things could've gone easier if he just buttered up his pooper and let his friend in. He loves his friend enough to fuck his girlfriend, so why not go the extra length without forcing your girlfriend to do something she clearly doesn't want to do because your priorities disregard her. I'm sure he'd understand and wouldn't be like "ew, homo, give me your girlfriend instead". Not the way he was sobbing about how he feels about the MC. Beggers can't be choosers. MC wanted his friend to live the most, so he needs to take responsibility and give up his boy pussy for his friend's survival instead of force his girlfriend to give up her chastity to his friend. Or better yet, take on a threesome so it's less awkward. Y'all can have as much fun as you like in threes, and no one has to feel bad since you're banging your girlfriend, and your friend's survival is ensured. Sure it might be conflicting for her to have another guy in there, but the dude let him fuck his girlfriend; at that point, that wouldn't have even mattered. The fact that they didn't threesome makes this even fucking worse, doesn't it? He could've joined in to make the situation less awkward for both his friend and his girlfriend who were forced into the situation. It's way worse than I expected after making this post and it was already one of the worst shows I've decided to watch in full. I love how they've basically forgotten this was an adaption of the sequel story and spent 5 episodes where virtually the only things that happen are in recaps of a prequel they never adapted. Literally everything that happened in the story they're supposed to be adapting since early episode 2 has been characters we barely know going to a new location then the main character continuing to tell them about the story that this isn't an adaption of. And episode 6 was so very bad. Reveal hidden contents The decapitations were pretty funny, but the real gems were a hacking sequence where hacking is literally a screen with a bunch of purple diamonds that turn blue along with a decreasing percentage while dramatic music plays and a character whose hacking ability is "my father was a genius programmer" hits random keys rapidly. I lost it when she got punished by combustion and she has a casual conversation while on fire about how she was abused into no longer caring about her life, so clearly being on fire doesn't bother her that much. And after being like, "You, protagonist-kun, gave me a reason to live [because that's what the script says]" she throws herself off a ledge. And the surrounding is so poorly developed I genuinely thought they were by a river and I was kinda curious what would happen if she got into water while on fire ala magic.... but it was apparently a cliff.... That was completely unestablished and the setting was done so awkwardly it looked like a river. I'm so glad I kept watching this. What a fantastic trsinwreck. Quote
