how I feel about heroin (serious thread)

Its highly overrated as are most substances, considering the entire spectrum of realities presented to the addict. Additionally all pleasure is fleeting and diminishing...diminishing is obvious. The best heroin experience isn't better then any other life experience- it feels great and only when spaced far apart. The human mind can derive satisfaction from anything anyways.

So the addict spends his 40 bucks on 4 small wax baggies with brown powder. The method of consumption in this case his nasal absorption- that means up the nose. Out comes the driver's licence- the card can cut up (over a plate) and spread the powder into "lines". At that point a tube (such as a straw or Leek)  will assist in sucking the brown powder off the plate right into the user's naval cavity.

This event best occurs on a hot summer day. Addicts love this type of shit.

The feeling isn't as great as it sounds. Warm energy and Euphoria fill the stomach , chest and brain. Some people gag or puke. Its called the "rush".  This event doesn't even last that long honestly. Its not orgasmic fun lasting for hours. Idk why non-addicts think stupid shit like that.

Then the addict spends along time craving and thinking about it. Up to a year, some people can take longer.

Not worth it at all.

I don't recommend you read the spoiler.  Normally I wouldn't say something like this, especially not to you but nothing matters anymore anyway so I'll just stay calm and  :poop: :post:

only in the vein for me, snorting or smoking is nonsense, but don't do it

I'll stick to booze.

Man... when I used to eat a ton of ecstasy tho.... 3 days in NYC no sleep and dirty dick activities.

I hate MDMA and speed.

It makes me all gay and care about other people.

Fuck that.

I just want to wallow in my opiate orgasm coma and not be bothered.

I think its just habit for me... from the OC-80 sniffing days. Also when I was shooting the dope in this area was weak and I got hep-C so strangely I never went back to shotting. Just sniffing and pills.

Heroin is too risky.

Too many cartels don't give a shit and mix elephant tranquilizer with meat tenderizer and next thing you know - dead.

Oxycodone is the only way to fly.

The old OC-80s got this whole country started on heroin in the first place.

I know, I was in the epicenter of it.

I took people down to Fort Lauderdale all the time.

The clinics were a joke.

Some of them had pool tables and pinball machines.

Have you been treated for Hep C, they can pretty much cure that one.

Anyone who does heroin more than once isn't someone I want to be friends with. Ever.

Unless they're multiple years clean afterwards.

Drugs like that change people and turn them into utter and complete shit.

No don't judge people, normal and successful people can fall prey to any addiction (and frequently do) . Most of the hopeless addicts probably have a mental health issue too, its a disease of the mind. Must have compassion for these sick people.

Did you not hear what I said. I am going to judge whoever the fuck I want if they stick a needle in their arm even once a month. And bullshit.

You put the needle in your arm the first time yourself.

No one is holding the needle to your arm and injecting you unless someone is literally doing exactly that to you - which is a different story.

YOU.

No one else is to blame.

Anyone who sticks that needle in their arm and pushes it in is completely at fault with themselves. No one else to blame besides yourself. People get clean and stay clean - that's a totally different story.

There are things in this world which drive people to put a needle in their arm. And once its in, it can be hard to get out. Think if you were sexually abused a child or had some mental illness. Eventually at some point a needle appears. Someone suggests to you who are in pain- this might help, you might take the offer.

well cool do what you gotta but maybe work on your life and your situation...first step is a job...

I've been sober for a long time now despite what you people might think. Mental health is step 2. Step 3 is a then the J-word.

Being an EMT, heroin overdoses are some of my most common calls. I think I've seen too much at this point. I know people who died from using it.

For this reason, I fucking hate drug dealers.

It was really surreal having a conversation with someone to next thing I know there are like five people standing around me asking me questions.

It felt like a dream.

And as far as I could tell, there's nothing on the other side. Just darkness.
