But when I came home upset on the I hate You days my Mom would ask me, "Do you really think that's how she feels, or do you think she has trouble processing her emotions? Do you still like her?" Yes. "Do you still want to be her friend?" Yes. "Good, because I think having a friend like you is a very good thing." Whether my Mom really believed that or was just trying to infect the situation with positivety (I don't think that's a word) it doesn't really fucken matter because she made it seem like it was my choice. I'm choosing to not let the drama of the boards infect me (for the most part) and in general I try to be helpful rather than hurtful. It just feels better to me.
