Right on. I find the lack of perception of most noisethings astounding at times. There was the one outside but then later as I was falling asleep I heard an exceptionally loud noisething that sounded like something had abruptly dragged a squeegee across my bathroom floor, like louder and bigger than a sneaker squeak. Of course I did nothing but lay there terrified for a few minutes before I decided it must've been the French brandy and not really a Noisething of Nightmares living in my bathroom.
