  11. Professional degrees are different. First off, an architectural degree from an accredited school is 5 years, not 4. If you don't have a degree from an accredited school, you're somewhat limited in opportunities in the field. It used to be that one could take the licensing exam without a degree as long as he or she worked for a licensed architect for at least seven years, but that has since been disallowed in many jurisdictions. If he doesn't have a degree from an accredited school, he probably is being locked out of a lot of the potential architectural jobs out there.

  21. For me, E-books are just as good as paper books, and the feel of the binding or the weight of the book doesn't have any specific attachment. I'm most fascinated by the idea of having a library at my fingertips. There is one exception, though: the novel I had bound for my Master's Thesis has special meaning as a physical embodiment that can't be duplicated by a PDF file.
  22. I didn't want to interject here, but there is a difference between being platonic with a woman and being friend zoned. As a rule, a man or woman should never lust for someone he or she is affectionate toward, but, at the same time, that doesn't mean he or she should also accept defining that relationship as only a friendship. The obvious thing is that one can want to be intimate with a person on an emotional level without demanding physical intimacy.
