  1. I think the lopsided vote suggests the Supreme Court’s conservatives felt at least some pressure from Big Pharma. We know who’s pocket Thomas is in; we don’t know who’s pockets Gorsuch, Kavenaugh, ACB, and Roberts are in.
  2. Maybe he'll kidnap and replace Tim Scott. Republicans would never know the difference.
  3. I get the feeling that sometimes thin-skinned people think they hide that fact by trolling badly.
  4. Oh, it's not you. Reasonable people understand that it's not Dominion's responsibility to correct all of FoxNews' bad behavior. It really just comes down to us wanting to know what really happened and being disappointed because we won't get that opportunity.
  5. What Pooh said. This was never about passing as legitimate, it was always about not being the “main stream” media for an audience that, to be perfectly blunt, isn’t interested in racial reckoning. This whole charade is about giving white people the cover they need to not integrate into the melting pot, and following the social unrest after Fergusson, it no longer was necessary to pretend that society was a functional to their needs. They’re not suffering any reputational damage because they were never supposed to be unbiased - they were supposed to speaking the truth as their audience expects it.
  6. A lot of people are disappointed by this, t the point of suggesting Dominion was expected to look out for all of our interests instead of just its own. I guess I just assumed that the trail was really only going to put into court record what we already knew to be true, but maybe people really were hoping to see the personalities of FoxNews publicly humiliated and pilloried.
  7. Meanwhile, Nury Martinez is thumbtexting Gil Delgadillo dagger emojis and "No Regerts" in-between scoops of ice cream.
  8. That's something else that was always unlikely because of the exodus they're already seeing to smaller, more extreme outlets like Newsman or OAN. It's important to remember that the Big Lie didn't start with FoxNews - it started with Trump egging on his supporters. It won't go away just because someone who should have known better admits it wasn't true, it will only go away when the source of the lie itself disappears.
  9. I don't think we're accounting for what's already out there, but I suppose it's a "massive" win that they're not out of business if that was ever a real possibility.
  10. This is not a massive win for Fox News. It's really hard to imagine what else could be out there that is any more damning than what has already been reported by the other outlets. Plus $787 million dollars is not a trifling amount of money even for a company that is used to being sued.
  11. Indeed. I tend to think Dominion would have gone after Tucker, Hanity, and Baritoromo during the trial and killed Fox’s golden geese in the process. We might never know what the new evidence that producer was bringing forward, but I think we can guess.
  12. Waiting as long as they did, FoxNews already has a lot of salacious content to contend with.
  13. Yeah, it probably wouldn't have made a whole lot of difference. Might have given you an extra year at most.
  14. You have to drain it yearly because there is a sediment build up from your water.
  15. Yeah, something like 8-10 years is the life expectancy. Just replaced mine last year after that long. I didn't drain it every year like you're supposed to, though.
  16. So Draymond gonna Draymond. I didn't see the ankle grab when they first showed the clip because the action was so fast, and it seemed like a cut and dried case of suspending Green. After seeing it slowed down, my perspective changed on this. Grabbing someone's ankle is as bad as stepping on a defenseless player so - my unpopular take here is that if Green is suspended (which he probably should be) then so should Sabonis for not only initiating the exchange but also putting Green at risk for injury.
  17. Philly being down 5 at the turn seems a bit generous given the play, but the unusually low scoring means it's still Philly's to lose. Edit... and, like clockwork...
  18. It’s not all that surprising given the questionable playbook Hoebert used to secure her reelection in a competitive district.
  19. Well … AD got hurt… except not really. He’s the last motherfucker you would expect to be trolling, but there it is.
  20. Sure they do. If you want to be heard, you have to start with the people that are actually supposed to be representing you like your local congressperson.
  21. “Guys, I hear Q infiltrated Anheuser Busch in ‘55 as a Bavarian beer master and started to brew his own pee. We can’t stop drinking it now or he won’t be able to kick the child molestors out of Bud Light.
  22. I’d like to think he’s not the bad guy. Dillon Brooks, however…
  23. So.... glad that was cleared up.
  24. One of these days, someone is going to have a birthday orgy with all of their alts.
