Feels like they may as well have gotten Ben Stine to play Bruce. If they were going for monotone the least they could have done was gotten someone who's good at it.

I feel like they may have given it that due to the controversies. The game is a 6 gameplay with a 7 story. Though I'm someone who didn't like the first game.

I believe I thought that as well until I started reading Pojo magazines while my mom was shopping. Pretty much they'd have spoilers which made me realize that this stuff wasn't new; also was my intro to Dragonball even being a thing as all I knew was DBZ. I remember being shocked though to find out that DBZ had ended for over a decade before we even wrapped up the cell saga. Even when Adult Swim aired Evangelion in 2005. I had no idea that the show came out when I was 6. Also my mind seems to have blanked on giant robot week. I remember the bumper with the robot moving the buildings, but I can't remember sitting down and watching anything in-particular.

Seeing as the people hosting the site simply received a DMCA and aren't in jail, I doubt anyone will be going to jail. It's like saying you're going to jail for watching those Shinigami cups omake on Youtube. It's no different. Adult Swim didn't show them. I don't even know if they were ever translated for the box sets as I've never seen them dubbed. So the only way to have ever watched them is to have lived in Japan and paid for a basic cable package, or pirated them.

When I was little I thought the Flintstones, Pop-eye, Scooby Doo, and the Smurfs were new shows. When you're a kid you don't really have a full grasp of things existing before you did. Not like I even had access to the internet until 2001. I remember when a friend told me about youtube, and I couldn't find it because I was looking up utube and browsers back then didn't account for people being fucking morons.

There are lots of manga that aren't the big named series that never get a localization. Not all manga are DBZ or MHA. There's a 30 year old mario manga that only just got a western localization in 2020. Then lots of games and manga have small side stories like Corpse Party Hysteric Birthday's manga which never got a western release. XSeed ended up making a VN for it which we did get...7 years after the fact. Could you imagine if it took them 7 years to localize MHA? People would be justifying the fuck out of piracy if funimation said they're taking a 7 year hiatus on localizing the series. Hell series like Shippuden only ended 3 years ago and people already act like that show is a fossil from a bygone age.

It sucks that some of the manga I was reading were obscure enough that they were only getting uploaded there. Maybe whoever was translating them will jump ship to one of the other sites. Mangapark and Mangadex aren't very complete but they have most of what I read at least.

I don't do funko so I remember no such thing! This, selling it would make no sense as they'd be losing the brand itself. Toonami as a recognized brand is probably more valuable than the block itself. I still think though that Toonami needs to get more interactive on platforms like youtube and twitch with some live streams to interact with people and bring in younger viewers.

The way that I think the show would have added sex would have been more along the lines of implied rape. Yeah the fire nation was just kidnapping women from the water tribe to sit in prison...and nothing else. I don't think that Netflix planned on it being full game of thrones sex scenes, but would have more implied that darker shit ontop of a genocide did happen. At least that's how I read into it. From what I know of the creators is that they would just ham fist lgbt stuff into it like they're George Lucas with some cgi rocks. No problem if they know how to do it, but from korra and the expanded comics, they have no idea how to write gay characters without halting the plot to make it very clear that the characters are gay. Comic Korra shows up with Asami, Korra's aunt calls them a cute couple. Have to stop the plot to address this, then brings up that she doesn't "announce" it herself. Gasp Korra never knew please tell more so we don't have to continue the plot! Then the aunt is like BTW Kiyoshi was bisexual and Sozen outlawed same sex relationships 100 years ago. Korra thinks that makes him the worst....not the genocide or 100 years of war, or betraying her past incarnation killing him. Also kinda ignores that laws that sozen makes only applied towards the fire nation. Didn't really account for the rest of the world. Also implies that people were more tolerant 100+ years ago...let that sink in. On top of which they halted plot for that subtle bit of pointless. Pretty much the main way to piss off fans of things are innate stories that have nothing to do with the plot and retcons to established lore. This is why fans didn't like episodes like the divide to the point that the creators even acknowledged how pointless the episode was. Then everyone was mad with the retcon done with Avatar Wan the first avatar, once again subtlety is not their strength. Whole series different things were being used as the original teachers of bending. The moon, Badger-moles, Dragons, Sky Bison were the original masters....Nope it was lion turtles giving magic out like it's an aesop fable. Benders just learned how to do it better by watching those things. You can't get bending powers from a badger-mole that is just silly you dumb idiot, now a lion-turtle that just makes sense. Also ignore Zuko finding the new "source" of fire bending from dragons!
