  1. I have been using T-Mobile's 5G internet for close to 3 years now. A couple of takeaways: Your internet data is essentially what's left over from their phone data. So during heavy traffic your speeds can suffer significantly. The "Unlimited Data" they advertise all the time was not made available to me immediately. There was like 100/150/200gigs of bandwidth monthly plans. I'm not sure if they would have ever offered it voluntarily, but I went to the website options to opt into e-mail notifications several months later and saw I could switch to the advertised unlimited $50 a month plan. Quality-wise, it was decent for like a year, then there was roughly 6 months where it was quite unstable. A lot of disconnecting or speeds where it was essentially unusable. After that, though, I haven't really had any issues outside of the rare ones that all providers have from time to time. Currently my download speed is 240mbs, but like I said, it can fluctuate. I think part of why my speeds are much higher than advertised is that I live in a very rural area, so there is a lot more leftover data than other places may have. The "gateway" as they call it only has 2 ethernet ports, but you could always purchase a router. I don't know anything about their landline support, though.
  2. Masks? No. I do intend to use them whenever I'm sick, though. Social distance? Nah. I've always kept out of people's personal space, but don't think I stay 6 feet away. Boosters? I've kept up on those. I think they're only available to elderly/at-risk starting this season, though, so I guess I'm done with them.
  3. I think it makes her look like the fat kid from the new Spiderman movies.
  4. I think it'll be the opposite, where the new CEO is also god awful, but people will say "At least he's not Zaslav."
  5. Godzilla Minus One - 8.0 I'm no expert, but a lot of Japanese acting always feels over-the-top to me, with this movie being no different. I could also see some of the story beats before they were revealed, which was disappointing. However, it was a very enjoyable watch despite my issues, and the special effects were amazing. I just wish I saw it in theaters and not on my monitor.
  6. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 8.5/10 I thought it was great, but the trope-y stuff held it down. Like, we know what you're about to do, you don't need to say "Let's [whatever]" Also didn't like the sad part, not that it was bad, but I just didn't want to feel sad. I didn't take any score off for that, though.
  7. If you don't want to read all of it, pooh: A shithole. I was implying Packard lived/currently lives in a shithole, and that he actively seeks it out because it's "the right price."
  8. Calling some place a "foreign planet" is a humorous way of saying how out of the norm it is for the average person. I understand it's difficult to sense that when your "funny" responses involve references to Nucky Johnson, whoever that is, and other people who haven't been relevant in decades, if they ever were. And no, I don't want to know who that is, so don't bother.
  9. No, no, I didn't. I was suggesting an area with a jewelry(pawn)/tobacco shop would be the exact type of place you could find cheap housing. And I wouldn't be surprised if you actively sought out such a place. I know you just assume you're always correct, but that's not always, or even usually, the case.
  10. Uh oh, grandpa forgot his meds and is confusing people again.
  11. Sorry, the same planet where you can pawn your grandmother's wedding ring to buy smokes. And I don't care nor did I ever ask how much a room was.
  12. The same planet with a jewelry/tobacco shop.
  13. Packard: *covers self in shit* Everyone: Bro, you smell like shit Packard: Got 'em
  14. So you applied for a collateralized loan, and that's how you know? Just say that, weirdo.
