saw an ad for royal crackers today while watching battlebots..... does it really deserve all these commercials and that cracker billboard?

I Can't really see this show becoming the success story adultswim wants it to be

I Just don't know how you can even air this on adultswim without seeming out of place.... this was originally intended for kids and their families....adultswim doesn't exactly like the idea of kids accidentally airing on adultswim when all the naughty content is on and if you make them accustomed to tuning into adultswim for this then sooner or later they'll tune into something the parents don't want them seeing

this is what I'm wondering....adultswim doesn't have enough content for them to be adding more time to it's schedule

didn't toonami boot boruto because it was attracting a younger crowd than they wanted? wonder how they feel about this

Since The Series has now premiered...this will be the discussion topic moving forward last night they premiered the first three episodes(episode one was already shown on youtube early)

I've also noticed that toonami has never really promoted the fact that it's double MHA for whatever reason

if i had saved something like spyxfamily for watching it on toonami...chances are I'd never watch it

to tell you how bad Food Wars S5 is....at this point in the story The Person they relied on for cooking recipes and preparation info for the manga had to go on maternity leave So Just imagine that...a series all about food that goes into elaborate details on every dish the characters prepare in it's final season cannot do that whatsoever

they really do seem to be trying to pry shows from crunchyroll's hands because it's where the hot popular content is and they don't really feel like doing research on what sentai actually has available i have my doubts they can only air one sentai show at a time....(if that's the case then they gotta hope crunchyroll changes it's tune and becomes more cooperative)

whatever it is....I'm not sure toonami's just awkwardly tossing out MHA for no reason whatsoever it just doesn't benefit them to rush through S6 without a replacement already in mind

who can say but I'm doubting it's some game with crunchyrolll .if anything they'd prefer if toonami didn't get that much closer to the dub....

I Think it's a bit bizarre to try and claim most light novels suck as if they are all the same....

it's still weird to see the crunchyroll logo pop up after this and MHA...(Gonna Miss The short jingle after the credits)

They Probably have plans that require this....i doubt they'd be speed-running through MHA S6 if they had nothing set to replace it if they had nothing on board they'd simply double up one piece and call it a day

i do wonder if the toonami team even knows what light novels are....

they really thought "Welp We Already Aired SAO!....No Need to look at anything else adapted from Light Novels or Any of those other weird Isekai Things!" I've watched plenty Of Isekai Series and most of them didn't make me think "Oh this is like SAO!"

that's the thing...i had someone on another board telling me "Considering the state of Toonami, a sliver of failing traditional cable platform, I can't imagine why isekai #409858 would be something sought at this point- it's not going to draw or excite any real interest in the show itself or the programming block. If there were more popular anime of other genres adapted from light novels, Toonami might have aired more." but so much isekai anime is released each season that ignoring it simply because "it's been done before" is stupid....

The Thing is Demarco isn't running the show anymore...it's Gill Austin Does Gill Just Parrot Demarco's thoughts and opinions then because the block under Austin's leadership is no different than it was under Demarco

is there a reason we never really saw much in the way of series adapted from light novels on toonami? aside from sword art online that is(which seems to be the exception)

who the hell has even known anyone with a nielsen box anyways?....I've always taken them to be like Some Myth that people speak about but nobody ever sees unless you are lucky and even then it's a very temporary arrangement before you are back to being An invisible person whose viewership doesn't count for shit

we have no clue how many nielsen households even regularly check the facebook toonami page....Nielsen Viewers make up a small percentage of TV Viewers so it's easy enough to assume very few of them check in on that facebook page if any at all

how can you expect online engagement to translate into ratings when the majority of toonami viewers aren't nielsen households so they aren't counted for viewership numbers?

any ideas what the bigger better show they might be replacing MHA with could be? because i have my doubts they'd be burning through this for anything
