not looking to get into a big conversation over the most recent incident of police violence, but I have a question if you live or have lived in Minnesota.
every article I've read so far has mentioned that Daunte Wright was pulled over because he had an air freshener dangling from his review mirror.
this is evidently illegal in Minnesota.
um... why?
I've lived in five different states and I've never heard of such a law.
not trying to be difficult here. (no really) but can anyone explain what the logic is behind this one, because I can't think of a single good reason for such a law to exist other than to provide the police with a pretext to pull people over whenever they feel like it.
also apologies if this belongs in whatever we're calling babbling these days.
