I only saw Oz's first post-primary ad just yesterday, and it was more of his usual insane babbling. Meanwhile Fetterman's camp has been taking the high road and spinning him as the badass he actually is. Meanwhile on the governor side of things, this one PAC has been doing nothing but running clips of Mastriano's batshit abortion views. Shapiro doesn't even need to do anything more than that.

When did winning the lottery become so stressful?
Top Gun replied to matrixman124's topic in Current Events
Honestly if I splurged on anything it'd be a ridiculous car (or two). Buy a modest house with a dedicated nerd cave, then pay someone who knows what the fuck they're doing with money to handle the rest so that I never have to work another day in my life. -
Who let him in the house?

texas dub va's getting an increased in pay from crunchyroll

I think Toonami's best bet at this point is in reaching out to the Japanese production companies directly (or those companies reaching out to them), as was apparently the case with One Piece and probably Gundam. I'm sure for a lot of these companies there's still a prestige factor to getting your product to air on linear TV internationally, and [as] has long working relationships with some of them. -

UnevenEdge Update: Forum Restructuring & Future Plans
Top Gun replied to Raptorpat's topic in UEMB.com Community Discussion
Just for some context, I'm part of one or two 20+-year-old specialty forum communities that probably have a fraction of the userbase and content generation that this site does, and yet the people who host them wouldn't so much as think of shutting them down due to lack of traffic, because the people who are still there have been for many years and genuinely enjoy posting, and every once in a while another oldbie wanders back in to have some fun for a bit. I'm not trying to tell you what you should or shouldn't do in the future, but I think there's a lot more to a site's worth than raw engagement numbers. -

At the end of the day I don't even understand why Sony/Crunchyroll would be so hostile to working with [as]. Are they even competing for the same eyeballs at this point? Toonami has its own die-hard audience, but the vast majority of people watching anime there are probably also subscribed to Crunchyroll. They're obviously not using the linear broadcast rights for anything, so why not keep working with [as] in return for some ad space and hopefully getting more people to either subscribe or buy the shows on home video? It's a win-win situation, right?
