When they "teased" it on the news, I expected long dreads & I could understand there could be a concern of it getting in his or his opponent's eyes. But the dreads weren't long. The news brought up that if the kid was going to wrestle with a covering over his head, he had to wear it at the weigh-in, and he did not. Still, to demand that he cut his hair or forfeit is just wrong. I would think they could have huddled with the coaches before going to such an extreme. The Ref's past history makes the whole thing questionable. He should never be able to be in such a position involving kids again.

Maybe he'd just been given his death sentence by his doctor?

Aye, and there's the rub. It isn't easy to find. Real comics take risks, they don't just sing with the choir. I'm not saying that they should sing the praises of the POTUS, but a good comic should make you think and laugh with a little bit of an uncomfortable feeling. Carlin could. Maher used to. Quinn & his "Tough Crowd" group did (and nearly came to blows doing it).
