  1. So many Canadians went to Ukraine they have their own battalion. Belarusians have done the same, but legion size.
  2. Stolen from reddit - McDonalds declares Russia a "No Fry Zone". 🤣
  3. Look out the window of the Russian Embassy in Riga, Latvia and see this...
  4. Had an insane thought - it might solve some of the issues if feasible. The EU or Poland should declare war on Ukraine. EDIT: Pretext for war - Ukraine forces on the Polish border fire a lone shell into an uninhabited area of Poland (act of war). Here's how I picture it: Let's say Poland declares war on Ukraine, and the EU/NATO agrees to assist them in conquering the country. Poland and her allies/accomplices immediately move eastward across the border protecting refugees as they do so. They promise Russia that they will not interfere with their troops provided Russia does not interfere with Poland's. The Western troops move eastward as fast as they possibly can, with the intent to capture as much land before the Russians can get it (bloodless war) and protect it immediately with air cover. The alliance gets word to the Ukrainian forces that this is "for show" and they are free to join the Western allies. If they can get to Kyiv and "capture" Zelenskyy and his ministers, they hold them until the establishment of "Нова Україна" (New Ukraine), which immediately applies for NATO membership and is accepted with all the normal protections of any NATO country. Zelenskyy and his ministers are installed as a transitional government until democratic elections can occur (as if anyone else would win that election?). If Russia interferes, it will be met with "retaliation in kind". If Eastern portions of Ukraine attack western forces, it is considered an act of war by Eastern Ukraine only (allowing the western forces to take more of Ukraine). If Belarus does, the same applies. If word of the approaching forces reach eastern forces, some are going to run for the hills considering their poor training, fuel and morale. It won't solve the currently "lost" land, but if the eastern forces vacate any area, the western move in and annex it as part of New Ukraine immediately.
  5. The sweetest thing I've seen in a while...(shortly after about 3:36) https://www.nbclosangeles.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/nbc-news-reporter-interrupted-by-ukrainian-child-during-live-shot-in-refugee-camp/2841977/
  6. Ukrainian soldier and friend
  7. I was more worried about appearances Zelenskyy's made where something as innocuous as a floor tile pattern could tell someone in Russia where he is.
  8. Putin's playbook? Claim Russian speaking minority is being mistreated in a non-NATO country. Set up "War Games" along the border of that country and claim no intent of invasion. Invade the country under the guise of removing neo-Nazis. Claim civilians have nothing to fear. Shell civilian areas. Numerous Russians leave Russia for Finland, fearing Martial Law. Claim Russian speaking minority in Finland...
  9. Elon looking out for the Ukrainians...

  11. Quite possibly the scariest thing I've read today.
  12. Considering the recent actions of the Russians, sending Potassium Iodide to Ukraine is probably a good idea.
  13. Blackhawks TV play-by-play announcer, Pat Foley, is either retiring or being forced to retire. Patrick Kane scores a goal tonight against the Oilers and Foley yells, "He tallywhacked that home!". What are they going to do, fire him? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  14. If the things that the Russian POWs are stating are true, they were told Ukraine had dirt roads & no electricity. Putin doesn't give a rats ass about the soldiers or the Russian populace. He wants to draw in the rest of Europe and the US, if he has to torch the world to do so. I wonder what Xi is thinking about this right now?
  15. Russians shelling Nuclear plant. The asshole in the bunker is dead set on starting WWIII.
  16. Some Russian invaders deliberately poked holes in the gas tanks of their vehicles, presumably to avoid combat.
  17. Book Airbnb in Ukraine, don't stay, money goes to owner with fees waived.
