...Curry Chicken has chicken, onions and mushrooms in a curry sauce. So when I saw a whiteish, roundish bit I thought it was a mushroom cap. Until I bit into it & the strong taste of garlic hit me. I wonder how sorry I'm going to be later.

There was a stockman at one of the first stores I worked at who, after someone had a party in the breakroom (birthday, anniversary, etc) from the coworkers and all the cake was gone, would go into the trash and scrape off the leftover icing from the cake board. Usually had to shoo the flies off it. He wasn't missing any meals at home so it wasn't like he was starving.

Probably because the stuff gets on your lips and tingles, so if you were to kiss someone it would contact transfer.

Probably where the rest of the "landau" roof stuff was. Mine looked like this - notice that the black roof material doesn't come all the way to the doors or windshield? Really hated how that looked.

Which Polish? My Dad was always fond of either Fresh (unsmoked) Kielbasa or Kishka. He was always having me send some to FL. from a deli here in IL. It would arrive thawed out, so I started looking for a place he could get some near central FL. I found a Pierogi fest near him & they listed Polish sausage - but it was narrow links of a hard, dry sausage. He eventually found what he was looking for, but just the thought that there were different conceptions of what constituted "Polish Sausage" seemed odd.

The station I worked at in the 90's played 90's hits with some older stuff mixed in. I still hear the older stuff on occasion, but the 90's "hits" didn't seem to have much staying power.

Actually happened according to Chuck Shepard''s "News of the Weird" - A guy tries to rob a bank with a paper bag over his head. The teller tells the robber she can't understand him because the bag, while having eye holes, doesn't have a hole for the mouth. In his attempt to correct the situation, the robber tears too much of the bag and the teller thinks she recognizes him as one of their regular customers. The man runs out without any money. When the cops ask the teller if he had a weapon, she responds, "I don't know, he had a bag over his hand too!".
