  1. they seldom announce block changes more than a couple weeks out. the schedule for after Fire Force leaves wasn't going to be announced alongside the schedule for when Dr. Stone does. they moved shows up and adult swim took 4 am. programming asked them if they wouldn't mind cutting slots. of course, like i said, they'd yet to announce more cuts were coming so the answer he gave was just for the 4 am cut. so you just completely forgot how adult swim always wanted to make more FLCL and have made multiple previous pleas to do so?
  2. and that means it won't be airing at 8 pm
  3. Dr. Stone is TV-MA. it can't air at 8 pm.
  4. they have to air another show between cours then
  5. it's because War of Underworld is gonna replace Dr. Stone at 11:30 pm. otherwise they would have to air another show between cours.
  6. the chart is for premieres, excluding shows the network doesn't list as premieres for whatever stupid reason. MHA and OPM were the only premieres...
  7. so, does nielsen actually track the 2 am hour for DST now?
  8. "would anyone really care" is an invitation for people to defend its continuation on the block. you're not expecting someone to answer your fucking question? probably shouldn't be asking it then
  9. why would they defend it? you just fucking asked them to
  10. and, uh, the last episode would be best used to lead in to the regular lineup...
  11. Yes, why did they edit the first episode of My Hero Academia for Toonami when the network requested no such thing? I have no fucking clue! And now they've also edited an episode of Fire Force. I can't fathom why.
  12. and thus, completely unrelated
  13. what was last year's attack on titan marathon?
  14. it's been on iTunes for years
  15. "our end," "us," all refer to adult swim as a whole. i don't think he has to spell that out.
  16. the "Toonami crew" isn't behind any edits. he's talking about the people who edit their shows at adult swim. he says it wasn't them, so it has to be FUNi.
  17. when DeMarco says "we didn't edit x" he is talking about S&P which dictates program edits. it's Toonami/Adult Swim/S&P/Program Edits vs. Distributor. the Toonami crew do not edit any shows. he isn't talking about the Toonami crew. this is incredibly easy to grasp.
  18. Toonami, Adult Swim, and the S&P department are one entity.
