  1. no promo and no explanation for the decision to air it. i don't have an issue with it airing on adult swim but they never finished samurai jack and the sunday airings of adventure time are gonna go like 2/10 = 2/4 2/17 = 2/5 etc. what a waste
  2. nope, adventure time is airing on adult swim
  3. at the very least i can't see them not getting 10:30, if only temporarily for attack on titan, out of necessity. they would likely keep the half hour until at least the end of MHA season 3 and both should end around the same time.
  4. ideally every show on the lineup is good
  5. i'm not sure on specifics but they were able to co-fund SAC and 2nd GIG. i think they would just be told a number in this case.
  6. Boruto is good
  7. they can air whatever they want at 9 pm though, going back to at least 2012 with Return to Spider-Skull Island, and since 2016 with both Rick and Morty TV-MA eps. and there was never a rule about TV-MA content not being able to start adult swim since The Boondocks has plenty of times, even at 10:30 in 2006 (and it wasn't The Itis).
  8. unless Ballmastrz is a precursor to The Boondocks airing before Toonami again, and yes it can air at 9 pm, i'm not really sure why they didn't just keep Boondocks at 4:30 and have Toonami be on from 10:30-4:30. We're about to have 2x Harvey Birdman/2x Mike Tyson Mysteries on sundays, 2x The Jellies! on fridays, and 2x Ballmastrz on saturdays. who knows what they'd replace it with, but Boondocks has historically worked as a lead in on saturdays and it'd be better than adding another Rick and Morty. Kai and Super at 8 is the best use of that hour, and it likely saves us from a Super rerun on Toonami when it ends. My Hero Academia Season 4 is probably just gonna take Super's slot at 11 in november. so yeah, not really sure what the plan for 9 pm is but i feel like they probably should have just done this instead: 8:00 Dragon Ball Z Kai 8:30 Dragon Ball Super 9:00 Rick and Morty 9:30 Family Guy 10:00 Family Guy 10:30 Dragon Ball Super 11:00 My Hero Academia 11:30 Boruto 12:00 Mob Psycho 100 12:30 Megalobox 1:00 JoJo DIU 1:30 Black Clover 2:00 Hunter x Hunter 2:30 Naruto Shippuden 3:00 Attack on Titan 3:30 Pop Team Epic 4:00 IBO 4:30 The Boondocks 5:00 The Venture Bros. 5:30 Home Movies
  9. DeMarco said Kai and Jack will be back at some point. Just gonna assume that means on Toonami. Doubtful Adult Swim gets 8 pm back. Ok, so on New Year's Eve TV Guide is listing 8 pm Samurai Jack / 8:30 American Dad!. There's an Off the Air marathon from 12-4:30 so the regular and repeat block for that week is unknown right now. It would make sense to air Kai and Jack at 8. And if they do that, they don't really have to return to Toonami.
  10. boruto not keeping 10:30 makes me think they don't really plan on expanding earlier than 11 in the future. demarco saying it's tough to ask people to watch anime before 11 supports this. demarco says about kai and jack "I’m sure they’ll come back at some point." i expect them to replace titan/pte possibly in the 4 am hour and ibo would move to 3:30 which would then be locked down for a long time as a recent rerun slot. or kai would go back to being the anchor for part of the block and they put it at 3:30. 5 am is likely supermansion for now, which would end the week before DST, so i expect toonami to be 11-6 that night at least. i don't know what adult swim would even want to air at 5:30 aside from home movies, comedy wise. if toonami doesn't get 5:00 sometime next year i really wonder what they have planned for it. if the plan is to have the rerun slots be kai, recent reruns, shows they own/bebop, a super rerun would likely be what it takes to add another rerun slot, but even then the block could stay 11-5 and they just don't replace super with another show, just move all the shows up. i can't complain if home movies airs saturdays from 5-6 / sundays 5:30-6, though. if 11-5 is the sweet spot, fine. i'm not expecting them to get 8 pm back. it was already unlikely. i assume part of the reason they tried 9 pm was because it would have been kai/mha/shippuden/boruto for a few years and they wouldn't have to change it for a long time. if they're bringing back 2x family guy on saturdays, we'll see what happens to fridays/sundays. having an extra family guy on each of those nights along with two hours they won't have to change for a while on saturday was a good thing. if i had to guess, they'll add a rick and morty to sundays and maybe add a boondocks to fridays, unless or until black jesus season 3 premieres on fridays. i always preferred the block starting and ending later. that said, 9-6 would have been pretty great. that wasn't something i ever thought could happen, but i liked the prospect. if that's not gonna happen, there's nothing i can really complain about here.
  11. i still think the eventual plan is to give Toonami all of saturday. regardless of what replaces Apollo Gauntlet, they're never dedicated to completing runs of originals. one thing that may happen is they don't air Coffins and Cradles again and instead of airing the next Home Movies episode they could air The Venture Bros. 710 at 5:30 on the 15th. actually, i wouldn't be surprised if they just air the first two episodes of The Shivering Truth at 4:30 on the 15th instead of starting another rerun after Apollo. December 22nd could very well be a marathon of FLCL, FLCL Progressive, and FLCL Alternative. FLCLimax only aired in a 45 minute slot once before this year. they don't need the extra commercial break. December 29th should be a Super marathon. That can go until 6 am too. 6 am has actually been hinted at, and there really isn't a better opportunity to do it. all that said, my predictions are usually wrong. this makes sense to me though.
  12. yeah i'm pretty sure they were just referring to Run the Jewels
  13. √A has the worst ending of any anime ever, so it's not that
  14. no thanksgiving marathon this year attack on titan 301 11/24 at midnight
  15. flcl will probably keep rerunning. attack on titan 301 11/24 at midnight. could move down when megalobox starts.
  16. as expected so they had to keep this hidden because?
  17. there wasn't a thanksgiving marathon in 2016 so one this year isn't guaranteed wonder why we have this random marathon though
