There is no justifiable reason for a Halloween marathon. Thanksgiving could be FLCL Progressive and Alternative if Alternative reruns at 3:30 immediately. Episode 6 would air at 3:30 that week, finishing its rerun. But, they could simply rerun all 3 series at 2:30 for the next year+. So they might not care to do that. So if not that: Thanksgiving = Attack on Titan 302-313 Christmas = FLCL Progressive / Alternative New Year's = Dragon Ball Super

in terms of originals in general, the Scavengers Reign pilot is being made and Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal is coming in the future. in terms of original anime, Production I.G is enthusiastic about any chance to work with them, with Maki even saying adult swim is her favorite partner to work with, that it is always her best interest to work with them, and that they "have many ideas and concepts." we know they are developing 2 original anime (nothing set in stone, however) and that they go to Japan every couple months meeting with "literally almost every studio."

A fourth MHA season, immediately following the third on Toonami, would give it more episodes than Super. also, MHA at 10 probably means Boruto is gonna air at midnight

MHA is a longrunner so if AoT was at 10 it'd likely be replaced by another short show. Which would be weird. They probably feel if they're gonna try a non-DB show as the first show it's now or never for MHA, and being a longrunner is the only prerequisite. There are no content limitations once it's 9 pm though, so that's never a factor in any Toonami decisions. Ben 10: Alien Force

the show's always been TV-14 so unless season 3 has any TV-MA episodes, it can air at 8 pm
