In Europe and America There's a growing feeling of hysteria Conditioned to respond to all the threats In the rhetorical speeches of the Soviets Mister Putin said "I'll bury it in you" I don't prescribe to this point of view I'd be such a weird thing to do If the Russians fucked their children too How can I save my little boy From Tchaikovsky's rock hard wooden toy There is no monopoly of what's normal sex From a certain side of the political fence We're the same biology But that's some messed up ideology Believe me when I say to you I hope the Russians don't fuck their children too There is no historical precident To control the actions of the hands of the president There is no such thing as a winnable war It's a lie we don't believe in anymore Mister Biden said "We will protect you" I don't prescribe to that point of view Believe me while he's sniffing the hair of youth That he probably fucks children too We share the biology, it's unfortunate the ideology It's a crime that goes deeper than me or you If the powerful fuck their children too.

Nobody watches AOT dubbed. It's a weird situation. For the inaugural season, the dub came out like a full year after the original subbed dropped (it had been on Netflix in the US for like 6 months before a dub was even produced). It's a huge contrast to something like MHA, which has plenty of dub watchers simply because by the time that came around the window between the Japanese airing and the dub was minimal. Doesn't help that AOT's dub is amongst the most hit-or-miss modern dubs either (to the point where I question while watching certain scenes if this is the 90's again).

What ruined Final Space was being "This Shit Is Forced: The Series" Forced emotional shit and people talking about their feelings every 3 seconds, flat jokes, the annoying insistence to try so hard not to offend anyone that the show becomes borderline "Tumblr Post: The Series" Forced Insufferable Overwrought Mid-2010's Snowflake Fanfiction To A Non-existant Property That Now In Itself No Longer Exists: The Series. Good riddance.

https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2022/02/08/anime-studio-sunrise-to-change-its-name-to-bandai-namco-filmworks?utm_source=community_cr&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=news_en&referrer=community_cr_twitter_news After nearly 50 years in the anime game, award-winning anime studio Sunrise, known for launching the Gundam franchise, Love Live! franchise, producing classics such as Cowboy Bebop, Code Geass, Gintama, and so many more, will be going under a restructuring within Bandai Namco and lose its iconic name, becoming Bandai Namco Filmworks as of April 1, 2022. The new company name comes with a new logo, which is just the new logo of Bandai Namco, as will all companies in the group will use the same logo going forward (seen below) The restructuring comes as Sunrise consolidates itself into White Base, a brand new office building where the entire anime production company will be under the same roof for the first time ever. All the Sunrise studios (which will come under the new Bandai Namco Filmworks name), Bandai Namco Pictures, and Sunrise Beyond started the move into the Ogikubo studio in October 2021, with Sunrise Music, a subsidiary of the studio, scheduled to move in sometime in June 2022. What will be once known as Sunrise is merging with BANDAI NAMCO Rights Marketing, a division of Bandai Namco Arts who works on the video side of Bandai Namco Holdings to become Bandai Namco Filmworks. The "Sunrise" brand may continue past this date, but the company and all its assets will come under the new umbrella. Sunrise's Sunrise Music subsidiary will be merged with BANDAI NAMCO Live Creative and become Bandai Namco Music Live on April 1 ... The palpability of God's death falls like ashes on my tongue. This hast what thee receives for sending ignored prayers for Crossbone Gundam to an absent deity.

I used to be an advocate for Fairy Tail and MHA on Nick. My have I become less autistic, but naturally the spectrometer depletes once someone encounters the written works of Thomas Ligotti.

“Bastard!!” (No seriously that’s the title) is getting a remake

Fuck that key art's giving me an urge to listen to Testament. Actually, I will: -
Should be an HBO Max section/library with a stream that loops every 24 hours (thus burning through & rotating episodes of shows daily since the library section is a click away). Library would be anything they have the rights to (including any suitable shows already in the in HBO Max catalog) the game reviews & music videos from the past month, and classic archives. Basically, anything between whatever anime is meant to stream on the app already to all WB action animation like Harley Quinn and so forth ends up in the Toonami section by default. There. Relevancy secured.

It's funny. I was talking to this 18 year-old who was shadowing my radio show not too long ago, they brought up Toonami and apparently nostalgia for AS Toonami actually exists (they were 9 when Toonami 2.0 started). Then they said "Why did they get rid of it?" I was like "Uh... it's still on the air." The streaming wars have made them believe Toonami's doesn't exist anymore, because as far as most people are concerned via their viewing habits, it doesn't.
