I've pointed out as much to people and you're absolutely right.

Trump supporters don't realize Trump is only 4 years younger than Biden(if I remember correctly.) This probably has a lot to do with Biden not being orange or dying his hair.

I think at the very least, the live airing of the hearings may influence quite a few voters. Then again, it's really hard to change the MAGA crowd's mind due to their aversion of facts.

Granted, there were quite a few Republicans who condemned Trump immediately after the event but many have since pulled a 180. When Trump was impeached twice, which party decided not to do anything? They put the country in danger of another Trump presidency. Then there's the dangerous lies perpetuated by Republicans on news networks and social media which polarizes the nation. I don't see Democrats doing this.

Just to address a couple of things here. I may address more in the future when I feel like it. Christopher Miller was acting defense secretary at the time. Notice it says acting because Trump fired Mark Esper two days after Biden was projected the winner of the election. Trump was president at the time and Miller was acting defense secretary.
