Who the fuck would hit someone and drive off? That’s what bothers me the most

There was a truck driving on the wrong side of the road and the car in front of him swerved to miss it and he hit her backend. He ended up on one side of the street and she ended up in the median. So she gets out of the car and stands in the median and my friend gets out of his car. And he was a firefighter by trade so he starts walking over to her and says “it’s ok, you’ll be alright, I’m calling 911” and the truck that had been driving down the wrong side of the road hit him...and drove off...he was fuckin run over helping someone...and they haven’t found the driver that killed him.
