It was a gas leak...and it never indicated the stove as the culprit...it could have been the city’s gas lines because in it they were even quoted in saying “there has been a gas leak for weeks”... try again

yeah I had one of those when I was growing up...g-Na Stillz had the gas range...my issue with the induction was that if anything boiled over and burned to it...it was murder to get it off
