I can't remember a lot of things from grade school without prompting, yet I have a near photographic memory of Banjo-Kazooie and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which, I might admit under oath, played a larger internal role in my life than my education during those years. So, it might not just be that I have an extra four years of college and three of law school on top of pre-k and k-12.

I've noticed that other people are a lot better at recalling specific grades and teachers from their education than I am, even if they are 20 years older than me. My working theory is that the more years of education you have, the less able you are to remember a lot of those specifics without some sort of prompt to trigger your memory. My other working theory is that I am just bad at remembering things.

I went to the store because everything is closed today and I used the opportunity to take down my white whale. The gym was on lock by team red players who may or may not have been spoofers. It took me four battles but I finally knocked it out and popped in scizor. Felt good man. Then as I'm walking into the apt I pull out my phone with a message that scizor has returned. I collected one whole coin. That's when I realized they were probably desperate to be knocked out to reset the clock. They are just out of sight in the game so I can't tell for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if all six slots were already filled in the past ten minutes.

I kind of meant it as a sarcastic joke in the "we're using ancient software because it let's JMC Admin set up folder banners" sort of way

maybe if there has to be limitations on accessing DF it should be a function of time spent on the site versus raw post count - some of us just wanna watch the show

Note that he listed himself first after the three admin and listed Mandorapto dead last even though Mandorapto is technically the most senior mod. And he didn't even invite poor viperxmns to the free bj fest. Save the best for last I guess. Someone should let Mandorapto know.

Well I got my 50 coins, a few hours shy of a full week. On the bright side, the timing was pretty good because there was coincidentally a snorlax at the next stop over. Not the best but now I've finally caught one.

It is definitely being fed. There is no way it is just natural decay. I'm not sure I want it back just for coins, at this point it's gotta be gunning for a record of some sort.

Perfect scizor is still in the gym, nearly full heart and only down roughly 200 CP. Over four days now. Maybe it will stay in so tong that by the time it dies they will have changed the coin prize ceiling.

I put my perfect scizor in a gym two days and four hours ago, and I can see the gym from here and it is at nearly full motivation and CP while everything else in the gym is half or worse. I know I'm still only getting the 50 coins whenever it leaves but I am kind of impressed that people are propping it up for this long.

Whomever comes back with coins first uses up the cap, once the cap is hit it is nothing for anything else regardless of how long.
