MAR and DICE really blurred together into a forgettable blob of nothing, as did the pairing of Zatch Bell and Rave Master. Then all four merged together to make Blue Dragon. If there's a silver lining to Toonami being revamped for late night block, it's that they stopped pushing cheap garbage nobody cares about into the spotlight early on.

It was a dark time for the block. They were probably coasting off of Naruto and 4Piece to carry the rest of the shows so they could plug in any cheap licenses that would make for an easy, kid-friendly dub.

People won't know where it's headed until the middle of the week, but whenever I keep looking for updates, there's nothing objective. It's all "EVERYTHING'S GOING TO GO TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET!", which makes it hard to actually prep up efficiently because there's too much disaster porn flooding the internet searches for weather trackers. I did get alot of water in case and will grab more things along the way, but I hope the people around me actually help prep up and, if the hurricane does pass by, it'll quiet down.

I can't wait until Toonami picks up The New Prince of Tennis. We deserve to know what happened to everyone on the show after all these years.

I haven't gotten to that part on the PS1 copy I'm playing at the moment, but she does throw herself off a cliff if Cid dies. You can do everything to make sure Cid lives, but some people tend to let him die because it takes some effort to keep him alive and it'd be more emotional for Celes to jump off a cliff in despair from having shit pile on-top of shit in the World of Ruin. The world's gone to hell, she thinks Locke is gone, AND her father figure passed away because she messed up the quest. Her discovery that Locke is still alive somewhere in the World of Ruin also feels more impactful after a failed suicide attempt instead of finding out after a healthy Cid tells her about the raft. When I get to the scenario, I'll probably try to keep Cid alive because it'd be happier, and I've seen the Cid dying scene a couple times because fans rank it up there with the opera scene and the big FFVII spoiler.
