It looks terrible, which is why I want to watch it. The paradox is that Netflix will probably think this means I want more seasons if I give it the time of day. There's already that talk with the Death Note movie hinting at a sequel, and I already feel terrible about the possibility that I might've given them incentive to make Death Note 2 with my viewing.

It was a great watch when it first aired. No one knew what to expect and Episode 3 came out of nowhere. In the span of one episode, the whole atmosphere from discussions of Madoka went from people being interested in a slow but promising send-up to magical girl shows to being horrified by the girls being trapped in a hellscape of permanent suffering by Mephistopheles in kawaii cat mascot form. Still have to see the movies, but it was a good show.

It says alot about the Professor that he saw the Black PPG he created as an imperfect prototype even with the three girls he created on accident. Would this mean that he mixed some other chemical with sugar, spice, and everything nice to create Bliss? Or did he miss out on one of the three components when mixing Bliss? This feels like an afterthought, and would've rather had just heard that a different scientist in Townsville or elsewhere made the same flub-up when making their own PPG than have it be the Professor's past failure he discarded in the bin before he found that his failure with the original three PPG's turned out better than he thought.
