Yes, this is a 20th anniversary showing, bought to you by DeMarco REALLY not being able to let go of the past. Which even that would be fine if they didn’t keep trotting out its rotted corpse for sequels that no one wants.

    Zaslav seems to only reevaluate his plans when older, more established players push back. Like when he wanted to eliminate the minority pipeline programs only for the directors union to go “LOL, no, ESG.”

    Given Toonami’s demographics, this is essentially guaranteeing a flop. I know it wasn’t Toonami’s choice, this is DeMarco doing a solid for the corporate overlords, but yeesh.

    If it’s an isekai but it say, stars Jon and Damien…that could actually be kind of fun. If it’s another Batman vehicle, I’ll be more meh.
