  1. Maybe not lure to the theater but get the word out on talk shows and the like. You can have Tatum on Seth Meyers or Kimmel discussing Infinity Castle. Not so much the usual VA’s.
  2. Given the timeframes of their streaming debuts (DanDaDan is still debuting and is still in the Netflix Top 10 every week, while Mashle migrated from CR to Netflix in June) Mashle S2 hitting is the best case scenario. Not that I think anyone will mind given how entertaining Mashle is, it’s just much more likely given the timeframes.
  3. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/fixed_2025 The final score is a 63% critic score and a 40% audience score. It’s the dog boner movie. It debuted in the US Netflix Top 10 at Number 5, not enough to derail the juggernaut that is K-Pop Demon Hunters.
  4. https://www.newyorkcomiccon.com/en-us/things-to-do/panels/panel-information.html?gtID=903890&panel-name=Rooster-Fighter-English-Dub-World-Premiere Possibly DeMarco’s last hurrah as an anime producer.
  5. Yaiba Samurai Legend 15 Sakamoto Days 16.
  6. Fillet mignon, sautéed peppers, onions and mushrooms, and fries.
  7. https://variety.com/2025/film/news/channing-tatum-rebecca-wang-demon-slayer-kimetsu-no-yaiba-infinity-castle-1236486729/ I don’t see how many people buy tickets because of those two, but that’s assuredly a choice. Apparently Tatum watched the anime with his kid.
  8. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/ufc-to-paramount-plus-under-ellison-pay-per-views-1236341387/ Instead they get a flat $7.7 billion over 7 years to put cards on Paramount Plus and CBS. It feels like boxing is the only major industry left still doing PPV’s (them and AEW, and even AEW offers a discount if you have HBO Max) and it must be asked…does anyone miss Pay Per View?
  9. https://www.cbsnews.com/chicago/news/butter-carbon-bill-gates-batavia-illinois/ From the people trying to bring you lab grown meat to cut on environmental costs.
  10. The Hollywood Reporter, which I (mostly) trust, had a review that basically said this film was Genndy going full Ralph Bakshi. It also acknowledged a lot of people are not down for Full Ralph Bakshi.
  11. So rumor is Trump wants to endorse a single candidate and consolidate the anti-Mamdani vote although people close to him warn it could backfire horribly.
  12. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/fixed_2025 93% on Rotten Tomatoes with a lot of B and 3.5/5 scores.
  13. Robocop Unfinished Business: Dropping RoboCop in the plot of Dredd basically (Granted people kind of consider Murphy an American take on Judge Dredd with some added tokusatsu elements, but this the first time they directly reference a Dredd story).
  14. The news seems to be giving cable companies the green light to decouple Cartoon Network from basic packages. And they wonder why more and more people are cutting cords.
  15. Caught up to Yaiba: Samurai Legend and Sakamoto Days. Gatchiakuta 1-3.
  16. Slow cooker lasagna, garlic bread and salad.
  17. I haven't gone to Las Vegas in decades and have zero plans to, but how messed up is a city when people go "Man, I miss when the mafia ran things! They at least cared about the customers!"?
  18. Fantastic Four First Steps - 6.5/10. Marvel tries to right the ship with the First Family but misses the boat by two years. At least Galactus was kind of cool but the Surfer’s dynamic was meh and I question casting Pascal who seemed to replace Reed’s awkwardness with - KPop Demon Hunters - 8/10. I liked this way more than I should have. The songs are fun and the characters are really likable.
