  1. It's Halloweeeeeeeen.... [dun duhhhhhhhhhhn...... duhhhhhhhhhhhn.....]
  2. Did you do a bit about the knife-key?
  3. @That_One_Guy for murdering someone with a fake key knife (he was framed, of course).
  4. Was that ever a thing? Oops: This was supposed to be in the TV and movies folder, not the AS subfolder.
  5. I see what you are saying. But, my shirts being about a non-LGBTQ band aside, in this particular situation wearing some kind of pride month clothing at least tells the LGBTQ people at work "I'm not your enemy." It's not much, but it's something.
  6. But... you just did.
  7. Remember when gamestop had N64 games? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
  8. Oh so you're just gonna ignore athena's post?
  9. Pretty sure I've told you this before, but... I'm not much of a fan of Queen, but Freddy Mercury imo was objectively the greatest singer in rock history.
  10. Where's the proof? I DECLARE SHENANNIGANS! Haha, you fixed the edit. BTW, that "(proof inside)" made me lol in real life, like you're writing some tabloid facebook article.
  11. Those with good taste in music will know what the shirts refer to. Those who don't... eh. I didn't go to school with any of these people anyway. I also have a zillion band shirts and wear them constantly, so it's not like Rainbow's the only band I'm repping.
  12. Are you sure you're old and have long hair? Rainbow's the greetest. Well, Black Sabbath's the greetest, but Rainbow's not far behind.
  13. *doesn't read OP* Phillies, go to bed.
  14. It was some bullshit rumor that someone started in junior high. As for why people caring about it so much, this was actually quite a long time ago now, the rumor first surfaced when I was in junior high in like 1997 / 1998. I don't think people care nearly as much now as they did back then, lol. Well, some people do, but... eh.
  15. Depending on what you mean, that might get me fired for sexual harassment.
  16. I'm kinda over the thought of people mistaking me for gay after experiences from junior high that reared their head again in high school, and again after college.... It actually wouldn't really bug me if people at work thought I was gay.... EXCEPT.... That thread I posted about a female co-worker I am extremely interested in... I don't want her to think I'm gay.
  17. No, I'm serious! I mean, I could see maybe at a gas station, but a bar? Are you American? I only ask because I don't think many Americans use the term "pub."
  18. @Juice McKenzie, I actually have heard that song before, but did not like it at all. Not just for the lack of Dio, but the reason Dio was gone by then (the direction Ritchie wanted to take the band). As much as I disliked the song, I do hear how it could have had a profound influence on Axel Rudi Pell's band, which is interesting, as he / they is / are full on heavy metal. For not-so-heavy Rainbow, Catch the Rainbow and Temple of the King are far more my speed. The former absolutely wowed me the first time I heard it.
  19. That is very surprising.
  20. That "Jesus Christ" made me laugh, even though I don't know if it's at my explanation of the Q or at my balking of post-Dio Rainbow. I'll check out Street of Dreams though.
  21. I don't know Street of Dreams... must be *gasp* POST-DIO????? Sometimes people add a Q... People can't agree on what it stands for though... Some people say "Queer," as like a catch-all, some people say "Questioning", for people who just aren't sure of their sexuality... I don't know.
  22. So my work is encouraging people to wear rainbow or tie-dye clothing on Saturday to celebrate LGBTQ pride month... not just for those of the LGBTQ community, but allies as well. I consider myself an ally (not in the strictest definition that I've seen, but oh well)... I have no tie-dye shirts, but I have a couple "Rainbow" shirts, in a manner of speaking.... Neither have anything to do with LGBTQ; Rainbow is the name of a hard rock / heavy metal band from the 70s featuring Deep Purple's Ritchie Blackmore on guitar and originally Ronnie James Dio on vocals... One shirt has a picture of a Rainbow and the word "Rainbow" written on it, but I have worn it recently and it needs a wash... the other has no pictures of rainbows or any rainbow colors but it still has the word Rainbow written on it, and I THINK it is clean in my dresser drawer... Does wearing either of these shirts count as showing solidarity to the LGBTQ community?
  23. Well everyone does that (or hopefully, not actual TP, but those paper covers that are made specifically to go on public toilet seats).
  24. I sit on public toilets all the time, but to shit. I used to avoid it all costs too, but after so many times of being stuck at school / work / on the road about to shit your pants, you get over your fear of sitting on public toilets.
