  1. Because most of us were young and didn't know better. We just watched what was put in front of us out of habit.
  2. Birdy the Mighty: Decode | Episode Cipher 2... ~The Partnered One~
  3. Toonami's definition of "action" is vague enough that I'm sure they would at least consider it. And besides, the show is really popular even with the coveted demographic of atypical anime viewers. They could probably rope in some new viewers with Yuri and friends on the block.
  4. So... Yuri!!! On ICE for Toonami? :fap:
  5. This thread is lacking your typical enthusiasm. I just think it's strange without it.
  6. The only thing he could apologize for would be his past smugness and general lack of not doing enough shit as a celebrity causing Republicans to get elected. ::spin::
  7. Aw hell no. =K But at least DBZ Kai still got over a million and was in the top ten.
  8. While were on the subject of Tenchi, apparently the franchise's popularity is so dead over here that nobody has bothered to fansub the new OVA, despite it having been out since November. You can think it's either humiliating or sad, but I don't have a stake in that. So ha.
  9. Sakura Trick #5 and #6 (rewatch) Space Ghost Coast to Coast: "Rio Ghosto"
  10. Sentai's Big "O" release now has a pre-order page and a release date: the 20th of June, just in time for the first day of summer. So don't rot away on the inside of your bedroom. Buy this release and unleash ennui in style!
  11. Love Live! Sunshine!! #8 to #13 (END) [smashing that backlog to pieces]
  12. You know, that's actually a pretty good point. They could put just a tiny bit more effort into the stream than they've always done. As is, the stream is basically only for die-hard Toonami watching people.
  13. Another reason why the mobile app sucks, at least in Jman's eyes. Also, I'm still quite amazed that fucking Dragon Ball Super's marathon stream went on without being promoted virtually at all.
  14. Which was a lie. Maybe an S&P employee's way of trolling people.
  15. Also: Slavery, Native American genocides, and virtually everything the government has done since January 20th of this year.
  16. Sadly, no. Because it makes enough money to satiate even Reki Kawahara himself.
  17. BanG Dream! #5 Yuri!!! On ICE #12 (END)
  18. So he's taking the Gman route and simply not giving up despite the argument's pointlessness. That's nice. S: [hey, the boards are back up!]
  19. BanG Dream! #3 and #4 Space Ghost Coast to Coast: "Idlewild South"
  20. Hey, remember when the ASMB shut down? Maybe it was a mercy killing, but it goes to show that [as] thought you guys were more cancerous than... gross-out comic strips.
  21. Eh... at least Toonami has some dedicated DBZ nuts to bank off of.
  22. That still doesn't explain why they didn't put it on the 'Blu back in... say, 2015. If it was mostly dubbed by then, why not do so? Unless there was a particular stipulation in the contract...
  23. Shuddup. I'm sure there will be some normies who pick up the show because they find it to be mildly interesting. I've thought about giving it a pity purchase, but it would probably be better to watch the show for free on-demand before deciding on whether to make a purchase. Also, I neglected to mention the DBZKFC set. It is pretty interesting how Funi is ramming through it so quickly, and it makes you wonder why the hell they had to wait so long to get it out to begin with.
  24. But of course. I only left that one out because Film Gold hasn't aired on Toonami yet, and there's only a small chance it might ever will. -_'
  25. If you've got any money in your pockets, listen up: For the month of May, if you're not already hedging it to buy Funimation's release of Shonen Maid (like I might), you can spend it on the show with the lovely robot girl. The release of Dimension W can be attained via a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, or the Limited Edition, which includes... art cards. And some bonus artwork from the Japanese BDs. That's it. But regardless of release, you can finally watch that long-awaited OVA... which is apparently about bathhouses. Like I expected. And yet you wonder why Toonami never once thought about airing it. LOL... expect Owlchemist to go on a tangent about how they should play Episode 13 after JoJo's ends or some shit to promote the release. On Viz's side, their release of One-Punch Man comes out close to the end of April. You can get either a DVD, Blu-ray (with six OVAs from I assume the Japanese manga releases), or an LE combo-pack which includes some art cards and a booklet. What fun! And the word on the street is that Sentai has something planned for a past Toonami show some of us have adored... whenever it comes, I'm sure we'll be able to negotiate a good price for it.
