Episode 2- Don't Be Afraid of the Dark I know that madness is a lot of what this season is, but I hate when i'm watching a horror movie/show that has a character who has hallucinations. I want to know what's real in what i'm watching and its almost always a "gotcha" when something turns out to be a hallucination/dream. They introduced some new character. just to kill them. And the new neighbours across the street. I find billy eichner annoying. And clearly they were colluding with Kai filming his "attack". Ally is the most annoying character in a few seasons of the show, and Ivy is doing almost nothing for the show. And I don't like that this show is relying heavily on the racism brought upon by trump, as if that's the scariest part of his election. If there is a latino character, right away there is someone there being racist against them in the name of trump.

I had gotten a gift set some time back, six bottles, different varieties. I emptied the pack into my bedside table drawer and grab them as needed. Last year when one bottle was empty, I reached for another without looking at it, used a little, and it burned like hell. I looked at the bottle and it was called "Fireside". Ok. So the bottle went directly into the trash to keep from using it again. Today. I drop the bottle I was using and it slid under the bed, I grab a new one. "Bali Moonlight" this one says, I peel off the foil and start to use some. This one burns worse than the Fireside. I scream and make him stop and run to the bathroom to wash this stuff off/out of me. Fuck you, KY, i'm not trusting your products anymore.

little_girl_lost replied to Satou Kazuma's topic in Free-For-All

I would want a call asking what I would like intead of the requested item. Adversely, when I was a kid, I would go to the local corner store and buy snacks, my brother would give me money to get him something specific and a lot of times, they wouldn't have that item, and this led me to have actual anxiety attacks in the store, freaking out about whether to get nothing or a replacement item.

I'll be rewatching the ep in a few days when my bf comes back from his trip. But I hafta pretend i'm seeing it for the first time cuz I couldn't wait for him to watch it :catlol

I like Jimmy's finding himself in finding a grumpy old man that would be him in 40 years. Gretchen went apeshit, understandably. Lindsey and Edgar are thriving in their work, so, why not screw that up with sex? I can only see their storylines going downhill. overall, 8/10, would bang

Someone stole a basket of laundry from my car last night
little_girl_lost replied to NaBarney's topic in Free-For-All
I stole a basket of clothes once I didn't mean to though Some people had pulled into the parking lot of my store, must've been rearranging seating and stuff in their car and took a basket of clothes out, set it in the parking lot and forgot to put it back in their car, and drove off. I brought the basket inside the store to the back room cuz I know had I left it outside, junkies would've done horrible things to the clothes, and waited for the people to come back and ask about the basket, but they never did. I looked at the clothes, they were all kids clothes my size, so after a few weeks, I took them home. -
same here, but i'm used to it, a thread like this pops up every couple months

One more thing I noticed in this and I see in almost every part of television the lesbian couple's friends/neighbours, the Asian couple that got murdered, Why on tv are Asians only married to other Asians? I would think the super progressive show producers and writers would be above using that trope. and I had to read articles about this season to figure out that evan peters and billie lord's characters were siblings.
-
yes people are fawning over billie lourd, but her performance is very flat, almost robotic, but idk, maybe she was directed that way. they made a big deal about lena dunham joining the cast, but them name-drop her in the first ep, establishing her in the AHS universe, so she could only play herself now, actors playing themselves is boring as shit. And I like AHS having historical elements (i.e. black dahlia, madam laveau, Rudolph valentine, Edward mordrake, Roanoke) not current news as a backdrop. They need another season set in a time period like season 2 was mostly in the 1960s. This season is shaping up to be weak, I hope it gets better.

meh, it takes too much energy to keep friends

It feels too real like, not a bit of it seems like fantasy in this fantasy/horror series it feels like I was watching tv and flipping between fox and cnn I hope it all comes together, as calamitous as It seems sidenote: chaz bono in a trump hat was jarring to see.

and then the real horror begins
