  1. Bro I don't even have an Applebee's here we need to talk about them Fuggs Fantasies you've been going through though, and think about getting you on some medication....because I'm worried it's just been getting worse. I know it must have been a lot being trapped in there for so long, BUT YOU ARE FREE. It's time you lived YOUR life for you ya know. The hooha is gone.
  2. I have the same complex about tipping, but depending on what the service is, i.e. my waitress hauling my order over all fast and throwing refills at me, or a bartender that's got my back with drinks/ police. I'll tip and make it fat even if you went out of your way for me otherwise why am I paying you to do your job?
  3. HOA's, cold call/door to door sales, pissing in your mates sink without permission etc...
  4. fiber or not that sounds like a 'noise' issue. As a prior house technician (the guys that come for your trouble call appointments) in my area at least it's because there is indeed bad infrastructure IE breaks in the line that the coms company really needs to send a whole team of maintenance/ construction to repair but they don't wanna.. All we can do is repair and replace all the house lines and a lot of the times I came across that issue multiple of us house guys had been out to the point we were replacing each others shit that we could tell was new and not the problem. also edit: we have to take pictures and submit it through a work app if we encounter noise or basically interference to those not in the field, and I mean literally by the time we replace all the immediate infastructure to your house and you're still having issues we can't really do shit at that point it's maintenance and construction for the company that has to trace out a bad node or whatever to fix it... but they never seemed to want to do it or it took forever. That would lead to customers calling us out again and it effecting our metrics when we literally couldn't fix anything else so ya fuck that job. There. Have another wall of text.
  5. If you don't want your yard I'll take it.
  6. How the fuck you remember your first razor? You shave once a decade or was the first time just that momentous..
  7. Well shit... ruined this post I made at op. Hates Miracle Whip, but bathes in mustard. This dude even sent in fan mail requesting the jackass dudes to play with mustard which inevitably led to Rake Yon acquiring his mustard phobia.
  8. He did say 'mild' so idk.. Kind of curious myself as to what constitutes a 'mild' terroristic act, but whatevs
  9. I remember Animal Farm being read in 5th grade. Not sure they even had "advanced" classes when I was in 5th grade, but it was revisited in high school classes. Shit I still have a copy sitting somewhere I think because I actually liked that one. Probably still have 'catcher in the rye' too if I haven't burned it yet. It's like I said earlier. Online I've been in several literary discussions where that one is pretty much love/hate because the 1st person Holden Caulfield bullshit. Being stoned listening too an elderly AP English teacher, or even classmates re-read anecdotes from the life of what a 1950's era edge lord perceived to be a teenage/developing mind still makes me cringe to this day though. TLDR: I'm in the hate camp most likely because I wasn't given the chance to be as much of a spoiled ass brat as Holden Caulfield growing up I guess idk.
  10. I've read it twice, once for AP high school English and again for creative writing in college. I'm pretty sure I've even had this whole debate online before here, and other places. The book is less book than it is...wannabe teenage angst because AGAIN when it was originally written no one had really done that before.... So the same shit I'm complaining about made it popular with 1950's book club people, and shot it's ratings through the roof. 1950's BOOK CLUB PEOPLE.
  11. was kind of waiting for that, but no that's how everyone I've actually come in contact with physically across the states would describe that read at least. It was something when it was written in the 50's, but mainly because the boomer effect, and that's only made sadder if it's the only standing set of qualities people can use to reinforce their feeling it's a good read....The book is definitely not timeless in any regard imo. Sorry.
  12. Had to google that to even remember he's the guy in The Catcher in the Rye. Thanks for bringing back memories of being forced to listen to people read that god awful book, and me attempting to read it on my own for class but not even being able to make it through a whole chapter because it's sad piece of sloppy repressed memories of the author. edit: I sometimes forget just how polarizing of a novel it's supposed to be, and I've only read it for high school, and then later creative writing classes college level. I've never not hated it though it's almost like... If you were going to make Hayden Caulfield so unlikeable, and like a symbol of innocence or protecting it at least do it from the third person so we don't have to listen to him rambling.. The plot is lacking you have little to no character progression.. You def either love or hate that book and I'm in the hate camp. Fuck Hayden Caulfield I'm fucking triggered.
  13. It's almost like this critique wasn't about a TikTok account...For me finding a TikToker worth even a few seconds view is at least 1/100000. There's really nothing but, nothing-burger mongers on there, and if you think I'm being hyperbolic I considered adding 6 zeros, but no... There are true gems that exist on TikTok I guess. I've found more than a few I guess that made their start at least on TikTok or have good content............ BUT SHEESH..
  14. I had my own kind of driver or drivers by my exiting years though lol... One of them was a rapper as well....Here's the setup: "Hey I'm on leave and just trying to find a ride to the airport so I can go to my home state.. yellow cab trippin... this other service... trippin. How much you want?" Him: "Damn man I got my kid right now but I'll do that for like $50.86 and I'll make sure we can turn up..." Me: "bet!" Dude was an ex cab driver running his own bus though lol.. Me at the airport...."MAke sure your dad don't open this bottle 'till yall get home." Dude's kid: "MAn yall stupid as fuck whatever I better not have to drive again." /Joke Kind of.
  15. never been in those NY/NJ cabs or where ever those Hollywood style cabs supposed to be from lol.... All my cab drivers back when I was in places that had them had TOO MANY questions, and would never shut up the whole ride. Like even the Indian ones were trying to be political analysts the times.. like what you think about this, You like the current president? To be fair though I only took cabs when it was pretty clear I was military so I guess they automatically assumed it's cool to politic me.
  16. That dude probably had the best shit.
  17. It's too cold to be playing angry birds outside.
  18. Mines Grover Cleveland. I think at least at one point he was the only U.S. president to serve two nonconsecutive terms, but also he was responsible for a lot of the native american protections we see today... In a weird way. The Dawes Act fucked a whole lot of shit up and allowed NA land to be sold. I've been looking into it and I don't know or I'm not completely sure why someone would name their kid Grover Cleveland because that shit was still bad, but my great grandfather was named that, my grandfather was born on the Tahlequah res. though he moved out and became a policeman for a small town in Texas lol. Weird shit. Gotta be clear I'm not really a fan of his policies when I say this I just think it's Ironic as hell my GGF was named after the man. Do I want to know why or not lol? He championed himself as a protector of NA's but supposedly did more harm than good idk.
  19. Fine...This guy once got so lost in that hooha it took six expeditions and 7 years to get him out. We told the rescue teams to put him back in, but they just dropped him and backed away slowly before issuing a full scale retreat.
  20. Heh.. Good thing I traded pokemon then that time huh?
