Took some chicken tenderloins and tossed them in olive oil and coated them with Greek seasoning to cook in the air fryer. Baked off a bouyourdi to dip the chicken in (instead of bread). Honestly easy af dinner and I think I tanked 8 tenders.

idk man I liked the new Deadpool movie. The story itself was really barebones and nothing of consequence seemed to have happened. But it was a fun little romp and I enjoyed myself. Not going to pretend like the original run of Xmen movies was all that great, either. They were goofy and charming and much too early to the dinner table. This movie wasn't high art or anything and it has a weird lingering feeling of being cheap, but it was fun. I like fun movies. It's how I feel about modern video games. So many of them get lost in the weeds trying to be super serious and the next big thing and they fumble out the gate while little indie studios pump out some flash in the pan fun. And that's what this new Deadpool movie is; flash in the pan fun. Marvel stuff has sucked for ages now to the point where I wonder if any of it was even good to begin with. This kind of movie is welcome in my book, provided it doesn't teach the wrong lessons to the wrong people and we get a bunch of misfire multiverse crap. Deadpool works for me because there's a long cooldown between movies but they are fun for a moment when they show up.

I know this is super nitpicky but the marketplace was online prior to November 22nd, 2005. I know because I won the console early and was able to grab a few things like my Zero Hour profile picture. And less nitpicky, I know a group of guys already working to get this service back online, including 360 Xbox Live titles. They are just waiting for Microsoft to officially kill the service since it technically still exists. Not sure how much of the marketplace they would be restoring, tbh. I helped them get Halo 2 back online earlier this year, among other original Xbox games, and whenever DLC was involved they made sure to get it back online as well.

I try to plan dinner as often as possible to help with food costs. My absolute favorites are easy bullshit meals from leftovers. I keep shredded chicken on deck for stuff like quesadillas or bakes and brioche hot dog buns that I can turn into French toast if they sit too long or cheezy bread to go with pasta if I don't use them for subs. Last thing I wanna do when I get home from cooking all day is to figure out something to cook. But I also make lots of stuff when I'm off so I can pull from that for easy leftovers.

Made runzas (aka Nebraska meat pies) for the first time today. Swapped out the cabbage for caramelized onions + cheese and brushed the pies with an herb butter when they finished cooking. Kind of a bullshit recipe but I really enjoyed these. Made a second batch using black garlic, ranch powder, concentrated beef stock, and Worcestershire sauce for the beef in addition to my other changes and made a fry sauce to dip them in. Absolutely wonderful bullshit. Happy to make these again.

Been on a black garlic kick so that's been going into a lot of my dishes lately. Started making potato quesadillas with leftover mash now, as well. Toss in some Mexican spices, (this will likely make the mash look like pumpkin), toss in the cheese and some bacon and treat it like any other quesadilla. I make a sort of salsa con queso deal for a dip. Made some for my boss today and handed out samples to customers so I hope it goes on the menu for our bar if nothing else.

I ordered some chicken and eggs from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Pleasantly surprised at how good this ended up being. Not super familiar with the games but this was Infinitely better than that shitty Halo show.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes - 4/10 This kinda fuckin' sucked. Madame Web - 10/10 This sucked so bad it was funny. Double Down - 20/10 Neil Breen is not a human being. But he is an American. No Holds Barred - 2/10 I liked the guy named Dookie that shit himself and when Hulk Hogan asked what that smell was, he said it was dookie. Incredible. Sudden Death - 6/10 Diehard on ice. Actually not too awful. The Iron Claw - 7/10 Jesus fucking Christ that was depressing and then I found out they had to cut stuff out because the real life events were even sadder.
