I sent them a letter once, too. Never replied. It was even the letter Z. -
That's been my mantra for 44 years.

Gracias, Hermano.

You need to learn to tie a tie, and maybe a better haircut, but Hell, I'd hire you.

I despise them both equally, so, who knows... -
You didn't draw penises all over him, I give it a 6.

That's not a very tolerant or social mission. Before you go after the religious, make yourself useful and start thinning the herd of politicians and lawyers.

Are you metrosexual, or just on the hunt for a model or personal trainer?

Ugh, she was a freak. She was a cheerleader, and I met her at a basketball game I was at. I had a friend who was even taller than me, I'm 6'2", he towered over me. He was 6'8". But, I digress. This girl kind of gave me bad vibes from the very beginning. She gave me a ride home from the game, in a frigging Mustang, which should have told me all I needed to know. As we got to know each other better, I became convinced she was a succubus sizing me up for a meal. When I was at her house I investigated, and found the most curious things. She had about 15 pairs of underwear. All the girls I'd ever been with had like, three. In the upstairs closet, there were towels and washcloths and sheets galore! These people aren't right. Fearing for my life and soul, I climbed out a second story window and jumped for it. I've never been so scared in my life. For weeks I couldn't sleep, fearing the assassins who would surely come to silence the fool who had discovered their laundry hoard. I still sleep with a cross on my chest. Just in case.

Shit, I was way creepier than any of the teachers.

That works, too. Butterflies work well on things like that as well.

Oh, yeah... like the neighborhood really needs this...

Once again, I think it's beautiful. There's a major shift in the paradigm of what a normal city is like. There are huge adjustments that need to be made in order to create a city that can support legal drugs, gambling, prostitution. This change is being seen in cities out west primarily, Denver, Vegas, Portland, Seattle, but there is serious talk in places like New York, New Jersey, Florida and more. I think it's foolish to discount a piece of art simply because you disagree with the subject. In fact the art that challenges your preconceptions can be some of the most valuable. -
I didn't read the thread, but I hope you went and had it looked. I'm no doctor, but that looks like it could use a couple stiches.

Good. Don't start again, ever. The more times you quit and start again, the harder it gets.

GOOD. Reading is handy in many, many ways. Sounds like a linguist in the making. -
Dude, I love Rothfuss. One of the best fiction writers I've ever encountered. He's better than Goodkind, better than almost all the other fantasy writers. I'm waiting for the next book, also, but I sure as fuck ain't being patient. Theres another book out by him, by the way, it's a novella about Auri, and I just looked on Wiki, it says GRRM and someone wrote a novelly about Bast, and I think one more.

I read first thing when I wake up. I need it to get my brain jump-started. If I have any, I smoke a little weed, read for an hour or so, then go sit on the porch drinking coffee, smoke cigars and listen to music. Usually punk or reggae. Oh, and then I repeat the process for about three or four hours. It really gets my synapses firing. I read four hours a day or so every day, if I don't, it's like I'm operating at about half speed.

Are you a drinking writer or writing drinker?
AstroCreep replied to Bouvre's topic in Arts, Literature & Music
I'm a writer who quit drinking. And began doing drugs, instead.
