I definitely remember Zoobooks. Never got them though, because my parents felt, as magazines, they'd just add to clutter within a week. I think their accuracy would be about the same, though. Maybe a few things here and there, but when you're writing animal facts for kids, you got to keep the detailed information pretty basic.

My only regret is not writing more bad fiction. I get so worked up about producing a Good Thing in the first draft that I slow down as a writer. Had I allowed myself to write poorly, I would have written more in general, and had more to work on.

Work on getting my book pubbed, whether by getting an agent or nabbing acceptance from a small press. Write the first draft of a second book. As always, read more. Get back into cycling.
