Did you watch DBZ? That was an astute observation.

Even the chocolate beam failed when Vegito started wrecking Buu as a piece of chocolate. And yeah, I don’t like the Buu arc other than the fan favorite parts (Gotenks, Vegito, Ultimate Gohan).

DBZA has almost rewritten the events of the show for me. The details are bleeding together.

That stuff was technically filler that didn’t happen in the manga, so I could say “not cannon”, but that did look badass when he stood in space and casually destroyed a planet. So are there any other S tier abilities in your opinion? Obviously instant transmission, and the destructo disc was great until Cell made it obsolete (also technically manga only).

In Dragon Ball Z, the solar flare technique ALWAYS WORKED. Any time someone used it, even villains (Cell), it was always effective in escapes or tactics and it never failed. Every other technique (save the “instant transmission”) was shown to fail or be ineffective at some point. Even the spirit bomb! That never worked (mostly)! So was it a trump card or was it the most OP thing in Dragon Ball?

From this past week, we had an amazing vacation

Quarterback season 2 is out on Netflix and I’m accidentally falling in love with Kirk again. It’s his flagrant whiteness. I now know he lives in Alpharetta and I’m positive I can find the Cookout he eats at. I can’t quit him.

The graphics are fucking unreal. I like walking and exploring a lot IRL so a walking simulator that’s weird and wacky is my jam. I don’t even mind Kojima’s weird bullshit

Working and then going to the beach the next day. I’ve aged out of going to fireworks shows. I live very close to a large Atlanta lake that they do a good fireworks show, and I’m so happy my daughter and grandson can go to it. I can’t stand the heat and the unwashed masses anymore.

Whoops yeah, I forgot Street Fighter 2 and 3. I might have 10 or more versions across so many systems plus, as you said, various collections.

Are you ready to return to the Beach? I played it some at my best fucking friend forever’s house, and now I think I need a PlayStation 5. I loooooooved the first game. Anyone here playing it yet?

They’re crazy good seats too, at least to me. Fifth row on the upper deck in the endzone. I’ve had almost the exact same seats for Atlanta United games so I’m really happy. They’re playing the Titans so I think that’s why it’s cheap. I could’ve gone for the Lions but I think they’d be more, and my wife would leave me for Dan Campbell. I obviously wouldn’t blame her.

Bought some preseason tickets to a Falcons game ($9.99 each) because that’s the most I want to spend on disappointment. Maybe I can boo Kirk. I still can’t believe how much I soured on him.

Forgot about this show. I never got it, but to be fair I also didn’t give it a chance.

We buy games. And sometimes, we buy them again. And sometimes we do that five times. Tell me some games you’ve bought more than once, for whatever reason. You can even say how many times to really embarrass yourself. Street Fighter 4: Seven copies across all versions Final Fantasy 4: Five copies Final Fantasy Tactics: Three copies, about to be four Final Fantasy 7: Four copies Final Fantasy 6: Three copies Chrono Trigger: Three copies I could go on forever with the games I have two copies of, so I’ll cut it off there.

I haven’t seen the 4th, I’m sure it’s quite good, but 3 was such a perfect movie and ending that I’m being intentionally ignorant.

Oh noooooo, I forgot about Toy Story 3, the last movie in that series. I’m glad they never made another. When they all grasp hands when they’re going towards the incinerator; buckets, and obviously when Andy gives them away.

Here’s an old man thread. How’s the weather been this summer so far? We’ve been getting daily BAD thunderstorms going six weeks now. It’s like monsoon season. My roof is getting sadder by the day.
