No one ever considers that with a Time Machine, it must travel through time AND space. Our position in the universe is constantly moving, so if the Time Machine were to send you back to a certain time without moving your position, you’re floating somewhere in the void. Also deez nuts.

Hopefully Steam OS gets a full release at some point soon so all handheld gaming PCs can basically be a Steam Deck. I love that there are so many options in this niche now, but the ease of use that Steam OS offers means I’m sticking with a Deck until the other ones run it.

A 2% chance is actually extremely high on a solar system level, but the most likely area of impact would be near the equator between India and South America. Why? While gravity is technically weaker there, the Earth bulges equatorially and a plurality of the planet is the Pacific Ocean. So while even if there was an impact, and there could and would be catastrophically large tsunami as a result, the loss of life on a human scale would not be significant.
